Both Lindsey and Jessica are hot. But I think they look more hot with their original hair colors.
Lindsey could have been most beautiful redhead on earth! Of course even now she can if she wants.

And, about the a**, I like Charlize Theron's.

It comes natural, what can I say?

    *bows*

    I'm here all week...last I checked anywhoos.

Umm....yeah, I haven't seen any of George Ramero's stuff. Meh, not into that really much anymore. I went through a dark phase in my life where I watched nothing but John Carpenter films.

Yes, those were some dark dark days....

lol,To be honest I think sam raimi's evildead is what really got me into filmography/cinemetagraghy...Don't think I spelled that right. But I have always loved horror, but especially zombie flicks....Actually I now love all sorts of different film genres, but it used to be horror. However I occassionally love me a good zombie or horror flick.

You actually spelled it right and I LOVE the Evil Dead films!!!!

Raimi is a genius. I love those films. The second one with the little guys chasing them around with chainsaws is HILARIOUS!!!

And to think...a couple of guys from the University of TN wrote the screenplay.

Yeah, I meant the third one. It's been a while since I've seen them.

And yes, some students from the University of Tennessee wrote the script/screenplay and Raimi bought it off of them. And filmed it in East TN I think....

I'm a DC obsessive and a superman freak. I can honestly say that Superman has yet to be adapted well to live action, the closest that ever came was Bruce Timm's Superman Adventures and Justice League and JL Unlimited.

The problem is the live action adaptations try to make him human, he's not, he's an alien who lives among us, he passes well enough but there should be an otherworldly quality to him. He's not a super good boyscout (as the slur against him usually goes, he's an inspirational and aspirational figure to show what honor, honestly, forthrightness and hard work stand for. It's an immigrant story, but it's also a story you read/watch and see someone act in an honorable manner no matter the cost. He inspires awe in the DC universe and in our world because of who he is and what he stands for much like Captain America in Marvel's universe.

The next person who does superman needs to do their homework. Rather than go ape Donner's version of the story (which is not even cannon) like Singer did needs to read the character from ::gasp:: the comics. Superman For All seasons, Superman Birthright, Superman All Star, Whatever Happened To The Man Of Tomorrow. They should also check out Robert Heinlein's Stranger In A Strange Land because there are similarities with Kal-el and Heinlein's protagonist.

I second that. Also Superman is the First Superhero. Without him we wouldn't have all the Superheros he have today.

I liked Superman Returns. I know it wasn't really action packed but it was a HELL of a lot better than Superman 4: the Quest for Peace. Some fans Didn't like Brandon Routh and wanted to see Tom Welling as Superman but I thought Routh did a good job considering he had to live up to Reeve's performance as the man of steel. Besides who whould you rather see. Brandon Routh in updated suit with a really small "S" sheild, or Nicolas Cage in a black rubber suit with a silver "S" sheild that came off his chest and turned into two throwing blades?

Superman is hard to do for a 2 hour movie. But there has to be non stop action and the thing is Superman has no counterpart of power that they can use right now???
    Doomsday?

Hell I was thinking how bout a movie with Superman vs. Captain Marvel!! Think about it..

The JLU episode of Supes vs. CM was awsome..if they took that to the big level..it has enough to be a great movie.

If I remember correctly, they did try to use Doomsday in several Failed scripts (Hulk Hogan was Rumored to play the brute). Captain Marvel would be an great challange for the man of steel.

No counterpart? Never read Superman have you? Darkseid, Drega, Imperiex, Kaliback, Braniac, Parasite, Big Barda, Cyborg, Metalo, Mongul. I could go on, but I've made my point, if a movie with epic fights was to be made they have an almost endless characters who can stand up to Superman, hell, there are many above his level too.

I think the next Superman needs to be completely separate from the old movies. They're great, but it's time to move the fuck on. The Donner Superman film wasn't a giant homage-fest to the George Reeves TV series in the 50's (yes, there was a Superman before 1978), so why should the modern iteration of the character be a giant homage-fest to the Christopher Reeve films? Chris Nolan knew enough to stay the hell away from the old Batman films, and start from scratch. Why hasn't anyone figured it out that Superman needs the same thing?[/rant]

There were several Actors that played the Man of Steel before the 1978 movie ( I think Reeve's performance is the best so far) and I think each incarnation reflects the Superman comic books of that time. I think the new film should reflect what the Superman character is today, not what he was ten or twenty years ago, so Starting from scratch is not be a bad Idea, but sometimes fans don't like to see that (Ex: Transformers, Star Trek, etc) and I'm not sure why.

They don't want to see the filmmakers "rape their childhood" because some are so madly obsessed with it that they take their franchise as a sacred relic that simply CANNOT be reinvented and must remain in it's original form forever.
