I'm wondering if I should pick up this score, or hold out for the rumoured 2-disc set...

From the look of it, I don't think I'll get my wish granted.
Explanation : I was kinda hoping we'd get an instrumental version of "Before It's Too Late (Sam and Mikaela's Theme)" since that's what they used in the movie and it plays just so perfect...the piece quietly beginning in the background as Sam asks Mikaela "Fifty years from now, when you're looking back at your life, don't you want to be able to say you had the guts to get in the car?" and then she does as the music explodes while the camera pans up to show us Sam looking at her getting in the car, with the light, and everything, and...you know...just a perfect moment.

So now when I listen to The Goo Goo Dolls track, with the guy singing over it and all, I just kinda wish they had put an instrumental version somewhere...

Or maybe they did and I'm unaware of it and just making a fool of myself right now...

OMG thank you lord, been waiting for this and I cant wait. The soundtrack is barely even worth buying, this score is just simply brilliant. Steve Jablonsky is simply amazing on every movie iv ever heard him score, and this one he just took to the next level in my opinion.

Will the score be sold in stores or just online?

Getting the score is gonna be wicked.
But did anyone else notice that Skorponok's name has been misspelled? I really hope it's just one of those cases where someone misspells it in a press release and everyone just copy-paste that without thinking to much about it.

Yesterday I pre-ordered the musical score and transformers dvd and payed extra on shipping to make sure I have them both before the first weekend after the dvd comes out.

I saved about the same for the extra shipping cost since I purchased them at the same time so it balanced out.

    I can't wait!

More than likely I won't be watching it during the week unless it's that friday night after it arrives, definitely over the weekend.

That will be Halloween party territory, I just had a request this afternoon at lunch with friends to show up at an event dressed as darth vader.
