Yeah, poor Steve Hopefully his score to Transformers will give him the oppertunity to score far more interesting films in the future.

Make no mistake though, the score to D-War is really good.

I heard that! I've been wanting that track since I first saw the film. 'No sacrafice, no victory' is awesome as well, but I'm so glad the whole thing is coming out next week. Does anyone know if it will be on iTunes?

I heard delivery to Japan takes 6-8 days, so I'll receive the CD next week.

You know what would be cool? If Canada would stop getting screwed out of wicked things like proper release dates. Seriously. It's not our fault our Monopoly money is worth more than your generic green crap, why take it out on us by not even telling us when the CD's going to be released here.

Optimus Prime would not be impressed.

MOOSE! Perhaps it wasn't well publicized in Canada because it was pretty much quickly rushed into production and then into release so little time, effort or money spent on advertising it's release ?

Here in the USA we did not have an overwellming advertising campaign regarding its release it was pretty much a grassroots, word of mouth thingamajig!

Your monopoly money may be worth more now or about the same but economies change all the time...besides, you're Canadian so you must be punished!

A question about iTunes. Have they thrown that crap mp3 format out the window yet and allow people to download lossless wav or flac (if you want it a bit compressed but still lossless)?

    I want the pretty pictures.

Also I prefer to rip music at my own high quality instead of distorted mp3 bullshit.

The part of that track I was looking forward to the most was Jazz's interlude (2:30). It was only a ten second moment in the movie but it just had so much punch to it. I was listening straight through the entire album and eagerly anticipated that part. But it didn't end after those ten seconds. IT KEPT GOING! I nearly pissed myself. Thank god for album versions.

Here in Australia, you cannot get this album on itunes nor in any record or department store - even on ebay (I'm the queen of ebay.. but trying to cut back!) this is scarce.

Target, K-mart, Big-W, Sanity, JB-HiFi - I've done the rounds in many a suburb here but good news for me, I finally nabbed one on ebay from the US, paid tonight so will be arriving soon.... kinda... make that around 10 days....

In the meantime you guys are torturing me by saying how good this album is.

On the upside I am really looking forward to listening to Jazz's interlude, plus all the others, though I remember the music from Bumblebee's capture scene and that really heartwrenching for me.

Sorry about that. Anyway, that part I was talking about is 20 seconds longer than in the film, which seems short but is pretty long in music time. After all, Optimus Primes charge into the final battle is only 23 seconds, but it's 23 awesome second.

    Too true, too true!

No longer do you need to feel sorry for moi, as my copy arrived yesterday!

Totally brilliant and now I know exactly what piece/interlude you were referring too. Now that I've heard the album, I am listening more intently on when that music appears when watching the movie too.

I preordered this score as soon as I could (thank you AMAZON!!) and have not stopped listening to it since I got it. It is INCREDIBLE. The Bee's theme gives me chills everytime I listen to it. I love Autobots theme....All Spark....and of course OPTIMUS.

    Thank you Mr. Jablonsky!

I now downloaded the promo version and it's pretty good as well. I'm addicted to Jablonsky's music. It's my place of zen. Yes, I quoted the movie...so what?! BRING IT!

Yeah, my favourite would have to be Arrival to Earth, Bumblebee, Optimus, Autobots and Bumblebee Captured... oh and the remix Jester did of Autobots - I love it! I love Peter and love how Jester made it so!

    Bumblebee is my favorite track.

    Optimus is next.

The All Spark, Autobots, and Bumblebee Captured are on the top of my faves list.
