Is it just me or Did Bay not explicitly deny Dinobots? I remember the question...but I remember Bay didnt answer it directly and shot off into something about there being alot more new characters.....

Bit Demanding, I know. I included the dead dudes just for the sake of rememberance, besides with Transformers, you never know what's truly dead.

why? Characters die and other characters are introduced. it happens. the only real bad thing about Jazz dieing is that I didn't care.

for a hero going down in battle, it was rather short handed.

I know that whenever a character dies, new ones are introduced, it's just ironic that of the five autobots in the first movie, Jazz was the only one not to die or have a personality change. In the end he merely faded from the show folllowing Scatman Crother's death

An Autobot needed to die in the first fill. If it didn't happen, there would be no since of consequence. Which is weird cause, even with Jazz's death, there was still no since of consequence, because no one felt anything for his death.

After Prime said "Ah, Jazz" I was expecting him to throw Jazz over his shoulder and say, "That's that." And what was up with Ironhide? after he hands off his fallen comrade he goes straight into a super hero pose. This is no time for a super hero pose!

Then everything went all happy as soon as Bumblebee was able to speak and announced to stay with Sam. In the sequel I want to see the opening Autobots scene with a memorial to Jazz. So that he isn't entirely ignored.

I'm guessing it's the restrictions of digital animation, which can only radically improve in the next movie. There was a lot of talk about how strange and difficult it is to get "a truck" to emote and how Bay was harping on them to make the robots more human!-more human!-more human! Sounds to me like it was a tough gig for them if it took so much whip cracking. I was pretty forgiving at the time, since I was so impressed with how the 'bots turned out and Bumblebee especially (When I saw the first pictures I thought he looked so scary!). But yeah, you're right. That's a bit of slacking there. I suppose the good news is that they probably have so much of the basics down now the next one will blow the doors off all of us.

Bay pulled off BB's emotion quite well.......from the kidnapping scene.....to the end of the fight with brawl when he lifts up the flap over his left eye.

The Backyard scene with Prime was also done quite well.


I can only imagine what we'll see in tf2. Bay should send us all tickets to the movie premiere!

From what I understood, yes, in the G1 series they were twins. But Sideswipe has made more appearances such as a spychanger in the robots in disguise universe

and in Armada

The only other place I've seen Sunstreaker show up yet is in the Alternators universe (unless of course you count the Botcon Universe Sunstreaker)

I think it'd be cool to see them show up together as well, but I don't know if that will actually happen or not.

Sunstreaker and Sideswipe are brothers. They are twins because their alt modes are Lamborghini Countaches. Sideswipe is a red Countache, and Sunstreaker is a yellow supercharged Countache

Although it was never mentioned, Prowl, and Bluestreak could have been brothers. The pair had teamed up to take down the decepticreeps in an early g1 episode. I believe it was the ep where Prowl's battle computer was damaged, and Chip Chase hacked into his system to help take down the seekers using rockets from an f15

i think they should not put in a huge number of new bots , it will only cut into the budget of the movie itself. better keep it impressive-few $ build on the charracters then a load of bots that make a few scenes.

why i call for omega & constructicons is for they are the first huger transformers in the series to emerge and would make for a lovely plot cause of their mutual history.'

why cliffjumper, arcee, wreckage & thundercracker is pure for the fact they are marketized already and are alive or at least not confirmed dead *wreckage.
hotrod, sunstreaker blaster and soundwave are dominently present in the series and are favorits for many so logicaly they should enter the movie.
Maybe more should be there but it will only cause a milion dolars bot parade for 2 hours.
