    Default Hong Kong Incident

    Hi, it's Michael.

Yes, the story is being passed around is not all true! Yes, some drugged up guys were being belligerent asses to my crew for hours in the morning of our first shoot day in Hong Kong. One guy rolled metal carts into some of my actors trying to shake us down for thousands of dollars to not play his loud music or hit us with bricks.

Every vendor where we shot got paid a fair price for our inconvenience, but he wanted four times that amount. I personally told this man and his friends to forget it we were not going to let him extort us. He didn't like that answer. So an hour later he came by my crew as we were shooting, carrying a long air conditioner unit. He walked right up to me and tried to smack my face, but I ducked threw the air unit on the floor and pushed him away. That's when the security jumped on him. But it took seven big guys to subdue him. It was like a Zombie in Brad Pitt's movie World War Zhe lifted seven guys up and tried to bite them. He actually bit into one of the guards Nike shoe, insane. Thank god it was an Air Max, the bubble popped, but the toe was saved.

Then it took fifteen Hong Kong cops in riot gear to deal with these punks. In all, four guys were arrested for assaulting the officers.

After that, we had a great day shooting here in Hong Kong. The place couldn't be better.

Glad to hear no one was hurt, apart from the trainer I guess that may not be saved and he will now need a new pair. R.I.P Nike trainer you protected your masters feet well and die in the line of duty. May all Nike trainers now stamp on the floor as a salute to your bravery.

Also Micheal you should of bigged your role in it and should of said you bay hulked up and took on them all and smashed them to pieces " bay hulk smash "

Haha, free advertising for Nike right here, folks. "Wear Nike Air Maxes and you too can avoid having your toe bit by a zombie."

But yeah, I mean...wow. This was truly bizarre and scary. Glad everyone came out okay.

Glad to hear that everyone is okay. And of all things for an assailant to use; an air conditioner.

There was an incident in Hong Kong? I was not aware of that. But then I've been working long hours so I'm out of touch with news. Seven guys to subdue him? Any of them thought to use a choke hold? I mean, you can't fight if you can't breath. But I guess it turned out all right in the end. Hope it didn't disrupt filming too much.

Glad to hear everyone is okay, must be expensive if someone got hurt and couldn't help shoot for some of the time in China.

Any chance there could be an air conditioner Decepticon in the film now?

Enough reading. Time for a video.

    Good day!

    Mr. Bay:

That was a little too close for comfort. Glad to hear everything is ok!

Usually heads of industries have a certain amount of layers of protection to lower the risk or prevent things like this from happening. It's certain that protocols are being evaluated and instituted. They have to be in place because there are some truly deranged people in the world.

Yeah, it's all over the news. Those idiots don't know that with these incidents Hollywood may not come to Hong Kong in the future. Greedy bastards. Sad incidents really. Hope Michael Bay and the crew is ok.

Truth is these things happen in certain neighborhoods. Overall Hong Kong is truly a great place to shoot movies and a great place to visit. Been there a few times and I have zero complaints. I don't know if members from HK film crews are involved in "Transformers 4" but what I do know is that the folks over there are great when it comes to making movies. Complete professionals.

And I'm sure that despite these incidents even more Hollywood productions will end up shooting in Hong Kong. As Bay himself said: "The place couldn't be better".
