I think the guy I'm thinking of is Sean Galloway http://cheeks-74.deviantart.com/. AKA Cheeks. check out his stuff, he has got some fan art up. As far as I know, he design the new Spectacular Spider-man characters, although I think the animators butchered his designs... could be a different guy though. It's hard to remember what happened yesterday.... OH YEAH, I got to see the production art of Bluth studios which includes, Titan AE, Secret of Nimm, Rockadudal, and a few others. ... so
Thanks! I checked out the guy's gallery you told me of. That was pretty interesting to look around.

    Hey everyone.
I keep seeing other members directed here to post artwork they've created. I was looking through the previous posts and WOW, are there some good artists on this forum. I can't really draw that well, but I enjoy photography a whole lot. I figured I'd throw in my 2 cents and throw up some shot's I've taken. Sorry they're so big, I'm just pulling the images off line and I can't size them down.... or at least I don't konw how.

Nice. Taken where? Lake Cachuma, CA? (sorry, I don't get out much, but it kinda looked like the area). Is that a jet trail behind the palms?

    Fantastic shot dude!

You should blow up the pic, and frame it. That would make a very nice wall mount!!

Thanks man. The first and third were taken in Oahu, HI and the middle one was taken at a park in Beverly Hills. Yep, that's a jet trail - it wasn't done intentionally, but I guess it works.

Thanks for the compliment - I actually have a series of 5 that I printed out and have hung in my living room, so yep that was a good idea!

I get it now why woods and leaves in the pictures looked more "moist" than trees in the mainland U.S.

Well, what games they're likely to play.. Super Smash Bros. Brawl to improve fighting efficiency? Or Wii Fit to increase flexibility of actuators?
They'd explain "We're not just playing.. but training!"

Death also is has a winding road that all must travel at some point...The house in the background is actually one of my childhood homes in alpine san diego.I took close up pics as well because my bedroom was...My house was now run down and in shambles and looked like squatters had taken up residence.

While visiting alpine. a tiny village. there was a art gallery the only one in town. I liked this picture so I took a picture of it as you can tell.

This guy didn't want his picture taken as he was constantly harrased by police he said, but I bought him a 24 ouncer and he agreed to let me get one shot of him in his local hang out spot next to the bar and the liquor store.

This is A veiw where this guy was and a view of the town...Not sure if these photos are really artistic, or just a reminisent of someones past and hows it changed...If you guys don't think so let me know and I'll remove some of these pics...I thought I was taking some poiniant and artistic pics, but not so sure now seeing some other pics.

Rad, I like real-life pictures you took. Like the old amusement park in your pic, the place I used to play decayed and rusted out too. (I don't have any pic of the place, but this guy has very nice gallery of it.)

Sweet pencil works, Ury! It looks so WWII-aerial.

It is WWII. the bomber is a B17 and and the German fighter is a Messerschmidt 109.... if you ever have to draw these, I have some killer reference. also, what is that tower thingy you linked?

You think so, really? My eyes went straight for the couch, actually. A domestic object in the center of the disarray. I see your point about the green triangle, though. It tilts me clock-wise.

READ FIRST BEFORE SCROLLING DOWN!!!(Makes it more artistic that way.LOL.)

Umm your right in all regards to the photo above yur. let me say I haden't noticed the trees/green triangle if you will' I kinda like it though it shows a house that is disarray, but yet natural life flourishes and threatens to overtake and consume the man made dwelling. ummm, I also didn't put a heading either. It is actually a picture of what used to be a beutiful house. My focal point was actually meant to be the blackness under the fallen dead palm trees. This was my brothers and my bedroom as a boy I thought the picture I took looked rather interesting and kinda artistic in a dark way. However to show my actual feelings on the subject.

oh and by the way if you look close you will see that that triangle gets bigger. Also if you notice on the ground I thought it rather interesting that this abondoned cat carrier had the words PET TAX poked out in holes.

heres another couple crazy photos I took from another house I lived in as kid, mind you I was a navy brat and got moved around alot so.

This is honey hill the ranch I grew up on.in the back ground used to be my swimming pool, lol.

It's amazing how things in life that are sorefreshing ,fun and new,can so quickly become something, old, a thing that holds only a value of lonliness.

This is a pic of the house that I used to live in on honey hill in alpine sandiego/california.

This is what my house and the property resembled. Buety and nature for as far as my eye could see.

This is what my property as far as my eye could see became.mind you the houses in the distance were never there.it actually used to be a mountain, there were motorcycle tracks all through it.

Now I know some of you might be thinking this isn't art, these are just some photos some guy took of his old stomping grounds...To be quite honest to a small extent thats what they do appear to be. However with a closer look you will see that I tried to take some good photos. As well as show the suffering we all feel when looking back on things lost weather it be our childhood, or our youth. These pics were more pics of an expression I was feeling along with some picturesque landscapes of where I grew up...On a final note I actually have pics of the property on honey hill from when I lived there.Which was when I was three to the age 5, then moved back by at age of seven.

thanks yur...Not sure if I agree. I do see what you see in the picture as far as the uses are concerned however I liked the picture of a pic that I took.I guess I'm kinda biased and like all my pics the same on a certain level. plus for me there is a story and a message that goes along with each picture, that I tried to express briefly in words.I appreciate the critisizm. I'll try and be more aware of the focal.point.I must admit I liked the pic of the tree,as well.Instead of a straiight on pic I took one from an angle facing upwards towards the sky.

Below is a picture of what used to be a bakery on the right...Now a harley davidson shop. To the left was the first bank my parents used to put me on the grid...I have thus so far lived of the grid for about twenty somewad yrs.

Did you see this photo yur this was my fave.and this is the house where the green triangle shows.
