OK, I am getting close with this.... Just gotta blur the stars and the distant planet a bit, as well as de-saturate the color of the horizon glow a little.

Don't get your chops busted for pestering the boss-man. Have you looked at the internship opportunities at Digital Domain (Under Careers)?

That is cute Barricade. Your little guy has a great future it seems.

I mocked up a poster for a Batman movie I have in my head. Nightwing kills Batman. I call it Envy.

nice........... just know a movie about Batman getting shot by the crime fighter formerly known as Robin would never sell.... might make for a neat comic though.

Yeah, I must have missed Dev's post as well. I'm not a fan of the Nightwing logo (in general), but I do like what you did with it, the letters, and the other symbol.

    Thanks guys.

The Nightwing symbol is my own design. Its the bat symbol polarized to rectangle if I can remember correctly. It looks 100x better in original form at small poster size. I'd love to have it printed and framed but thats $$$ because of all the black.

You're right Uraydo; a blockbuster movie, no way. An animated dvd or comic, maybe.

More of the story has to do with Bane, Scarecrow, and Joker. I just haven't figured it out yet.

Seems like a good time for me to share my new web site. I just posted it a day ago. Still kinda in Beta mode. I've been updating things since I posted it and there are still some pages I wish to add that I have not yet posted.

Any feedback is welcome of course. Its simple. I Don't have much knowledge of web site programming. I would like to ultimately have a full out Flash based site. But this will work for the time being. OK enough stalling, Here's the link!!

Scar Crow28, I am lovin your photography. Have you ever thought of cinematography? That some bad ass exposure...

And Dev. check this out, if you go to kinkos, you can actually get a 11 x17 on regular matt paper for around $1.50 I think. Thats where I go all the time to print my 11x17 mini posters.

well, the pencils I just showed were crap. seems like I have some learning to do about story telling. I did turn in another page that I thought was crap, but actually did better in critic. go figure. I'll post those when I get them back. for now, here are the pencils for my Dodge Tomahawk project. this piece will soon be turned into a wash. seeing it on the computer screen washes it out a bit, but this is just a guide for the wash.

I hate the truck by the way, but I may be able to improve it when I go to ink... but, that's wishful thinking.

The sketch is coming out nicely. However, I'm a little confused as to why you chose Greek architecture for the background? The neo-cowboys and the Minotaur don't seem to clash with the background, but the bike does. While you did a realy nice job with the Tomahawk, it looks very out of place.

Now, I don't know what the parameters of the project are, and whether it's exactly what you are supposed to be going for. Action saddled in between something old and something new perhaps? Otherwise the background (building facade) and the foreground (the bike itself) don't seem to go well together.
