I like this one but I feel the lighting needs a little work.
The first is my fave too. The timing and location of these pictures was bad. It was later in the day plus the wind farm was still under construction at the time. Plus, it was just on this one road, so my options were limited. I hope one day I could go back there.

it's understandable. but yeah, going back would be a good idea. in this day and age these windmills can make a powerful statement in a photo.....uh... no pun intended.

The cat in your cartoon, isn't it? It must be nice to have the sculpture of the character you created!

yes, it is my nautical feline. I'm not use to drawing cartoon animals, but think doing this gave me a better understanding of the anatomy I'm going for. plus, as someone how draws all the time, it was a nice break.

actually, I have missed a few, but critiques are kinda why I started the thread. yes, this is the place to show off your stuff, but I would also like it to be where people can help there fellow members become better artist. yes, it is nice to get a pat on the back, but it is even better to here what people like AND DISLIKE about your work. That way we can grow.

Tell your mom, I like this picture. the colors and subject matter are great. If I was to make a suggestion it would be to crop some of the sky out and make it a panoramic shot.

P.S. if any of you guys don't want me to critique your stuff, send me a PM or let me know some how. After all, I'm not doing it to be a prick.

This was actually the best photo we had on the cruise we went on during our Maine vacation. Here is the revised version of the photo, it is now a standard 16x9 photo, it would look great if it were framed and hung on the wall.

This is the Cape Neddick "Nubble" Lighthouse, near the town of York, Maine. I got here via a cruise ride from Perkins Cove in Ogunquit, Maine. *Here's a fun fact I learned from the tour guide, Perkins Cove is home to a lobster shack called "Barnicle Billy's" which happens to be former Pres. Bush's favorite restaurant. So if you were there some day during the summer, you might see him and Barbara there.*

Maybe it's not too artistic, but the emotion of the moment was absolutly awesome.

24.000 people screaming, jumping and singin together.

Local striker celebrates a goal scored in the last minute that could mean the return to the first division after 10 years.

I'm amazed I wasn't held back a grade for spelling. but it's like one of my teachers said, "you don't need to be a better speller, you need a good editor."
