Actually yur. I like both picks personally...When I saw you added the effects as to give an action to the pic.I was kinda like thats pretty cool.he blew up a ghost town of what was my once cherished childhood home.I actually saved your picture. I still like my pic as well in it's original form and think it holds an artistic value to it.I actually like how much sky I had in the pic,but I took it,so I'm biased. Im not really sure why smokescreen didnt seem to enthused with your additions but I actually liked it. Made it add a sense of reality mixed with nightmare.

Because Transformers wasn't real and although it was very believable, there were things wrong with it. not only that, it also depicted things that we have NEVER witnesses. so yeah, Transformers falling form the sky, could look like that.... but maybe they wouldn't. Personally, i think it's pretty stupid to hit the earth at full speed. Realism aside, I was originally talking about composition.

the thing that kills me about photography...and im not saying this is anyone on the boards....and this usually applies to girl.

but...almost every fucking girl from 18-25 thinks their a fucking photographer just because they bought a half way decent camera and turn their pics to black and white...and/or throw on a photoshop filter.

omg, the best part is that it's a TREE! Did you want to borrow my glasses so you could take an overexposed picture of yourself in a corset at a strange angle while looking all depressed and shit? Can I hug you? I could use some more estrogen!

There meerkats. There rad. If you ever watch a show on the Animal Planet called Meerkat Manor, it is amazing how the get so damn close.

Took em 3 years, the Meerkats got adapted to the camera crew, so they didnt freak out around em.

EDIT: They are playing, there not fighting. The sabers I added help to maintain the evil illusion, without the saber, it actually looks like there playing.

    Move the camera right

flower is too blurry. something that close to the camera shouldn't be blurry. also, I can see your shadow.

the location is nice but probably not the best shot you could have had. the composition is too straight forward. I would recommend lowering the camera or picking a location off the road.

get your arm out of the shot. it adds nothing.

forgive the eyes. I didn't know how to do them until after I turned it in. live and learn. as soon as I get it back, I'll post a turn around.

Depending on if I get a job at one of these places, I might be building those things.. either for Clipper Windpower or Acciona Windpower. Clipper is right here in Cedar Rapids, whereas Acciona is a company based out of Spain, and just built their first factory in the United States at a town called West Branch which is about 40 miles away from me.

this is my favorite, but I feel there is a better shot to be had.

the windmills are too close together. I like the use of space.

putting your subject matter in the center of the page, hardly ever works. I think if it was moved to the right, this would be a pretty good composition.
I like this one but I feel the lighting needs a little work.
