Default Change - Theory Music Video

Hey gang. Well here's the project I briefly mentioned before. Just thought some of you might like to check it out. It's Theory's first music video. While I've shot a number of music videos before, this is the first one I both shot and directed. It's also the first video I shot in HD with 35mm lenses, a bit more complicated but produces great results and a much more film like look. I'm pretty happy with how it came together. Again, the premiere was awesome and we've had great feedback all around thus far. Now we're in the process of getting it out there and getting it into festivals and such. Here's a brief synopsis.

    -------------------------
You ever think to yourself and say that you need change? Tired of everything being the same? You need to look in the mirror and realize it starts with you. Only you can make that change.

    "Change" by THEORY.

The struggles of everyday life alongside the struggles of an artist trying to break into the industry. Shot in the Hudson Valley of New York, we follow the lives of three strangers and their loved ones, all looking for changes in their lives. The artist, THEORY, narrates their stories while injecting his own personal experiences and emotions throughout his musical career.
    -------------------------

I'm pretty much fed up with hiphop video that are nothing more than car, money and girls shaking their butts. We went for something that was real and something that everyone could relate to in some way. Anyway, hope you guys like it. We'll soon be starting work on the second video.

I'll have downloadable versions up later on.

    Good choice.

Impressive video Jester. Very good. Song wasn't anything special though, but I don't listen to hiphop so

I like the feel. It has that underground to it that I like. The video is nothing special but you did an excellent job. The song is alright at most.

Cheers guys. I guess I can understand not liking the music. Not a fan of hip hop myself, but I really liked what Theory has been doing with it and that's why I wanted to work with him. I hate where pop and hip hop has gone. Most of it is shit and all about girls, money and cars. We're really working hard to change that...no pun intended.

I appreciate the feedback. We're planing our next one right now. Will keep you posted.

I apologize about my "non-stop barrage of personal jabbering" but I'm too excited...

Just found out that "Change" was accepted to the Moondance Film Festival! (I literally go the email minutes ago)
