    Default Worldwide Developers Conference 2012

Gonna see if we can have another Apple related thread without an incoming sh*tstorm, but to play it safe, I'm gonna issue a Severe Sh*tstorm Watch for S4TE. Under a Severe Sh*tstorm Watch, conditions are favorable for a severe sh*tstorm to develop.

Anyways, big things coming this Monday. Here's what folks on the internet are predicting...

-New Macs: Possible new (thinner) MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, and...brace yourselves...Mac Pro
-iOS 6: New mapping technology replacing Google Maps, possible Facebook integration
-OS X Mountain Lion: Developers already got a taste of the latest OS X but there may be more new stuff
-Something else? Smaller iPad? Siri for iPad? TV set? Apple Pie?

    Discuss...

(late reply is late I know..)

Am so looking forward to iOS 6! Gonna be boss, man. Can't wait for Siri for iPad, too. Diction is stupid. Mountain lion is sweet, although MacBook is half a year too old for AirPlay to work, so a little miffed about that.

I was a little bummed about that too but don't really have a practical use for it myself. I guess it turned out that the Intel processors in those older models didn't have the right optimization to handle a processor heavy task like mirroring an HD image...wirelessly. I tried the 3rd party app AirParrot that bypasses that issue, but it's very laggy, probably because of my WiFi connection.

It's fun to have dictation on the Mac, though. Probably because I just love hearing the "boodoop!" noise when I hit the button.
