for a man who changes his mind at lightspeed these statements doesnt matter
Well you know what they say: Never Say Never!
Still the only way for Paramount to convince Michael for a 5th movie is if they let him do P&G 2... And we know this would never happen.
I really feel that TF4 is indeed Michae's last one in the franchise. Then it's Bad Boys 3 time.
im glad he said "setting it up for the next guy." i was very aftraid that he wasnt going to treat this next film like a start to something new, but instead treat it as yet another finale to what he began. so im glad they are all looking towards the future of this series. and im sure that whoever does the film after that will do just fine.

Yea, but it is a sequel. They made it clear its a continuation, not a reboot or anything like that. Bay is definitely not going into this, redoing what he already started. Reimagining means many things. New actors, new topics to explore, different feel, more of a robot driven movie... Countless possibilities... None of those including the rise of the main villains, as long as bay is at the helm.

Tf4 could be humans make a space shuttle using tf technology to find other planets with life now finding the planet its unicron disguised with many of the cool unseen decepticons ,relizing from video footage they are building an army, optimus and the other bots search the galaxy for other autobots to kill all the other guys. Now bring in the rest of the wreckers dinobots and make 1.5 billion $ because of all the awesome action
Please THIS would honestly be a kick ass movie
ugh, it wouldnt let me edit my last reply to you for me to add this. the best example of reimagining would be Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. compare that to the previous film, HP and the CoS. thats reimagining. that change ultimately changed the way the series was made after that. became scarier, was darker, the character expressed themselves more through how they dress, everthing matured, the film had a greenish tint to it, the music was more scottish, new parts of the castle were designed... huge difference compared to its predesessor, yet its still a continuation. not only that, but its still in a whole other world compared to the other 7 films when it comes to its style and approach. reimagining is far different from starting over.

He said the same thing after 3.
But I have also heard statements like "similar to a reboot" being said along with "re-imagining". I had that on my mind when I made my post. My apologies for not being more clear. Sometimes I don't express my thoughts to well in writing.
I have just gotten to a point that I'm just going to sit tight, wait, and see how things play out.
Thank you for giving examples. I had a general idea what it was but couldn't think of any off the top of my head.
