    Default Independence Day 3D

One of my all time favorites is getting a 3D rerelease. Although I don't think I can rewatch without reciting every word. I'd get kicked out of the theater.

Now that would be a great 3D experience. I've always been a fan of "ID4" and I still think it's one of the best "alien invasion" movies ever made (too bad the military didn't want to help the filmmakers).

And last but not least, let me just say that Judd Hirsch and Randy Quaid are absolutely hilarious in that movie. Love their characters.

I read a rumour on the web that they we're going to film part 2 and 3 back to back? Not sure how accurate that was and i never bothered to look into it any further.
The only way to predict the future is to invent it.

Reportedly they didn't like the government conspiracy Area-51 subplot.

Which is ironic, because the Transformers movies have government conspiracy subplots and they got full military cooperation.

I'm not really a fan of what looks like a trend in taking older movies, converting them into 3D, and then re-releasing them, but I have to admit, Independence Day is a good choice for this treatment - there are several sequences that would look great in 3D.
