Default Get Rid of the "Teenage" Aspect Too

Well I don't really care if the turtles will be mutants or aliens, but I would love to see them being more mature. If they want to go in a different direction it'll be best to drop "teenage" from the story too. As the name of this forum - only Ninja Turtles. :borat

It's already been confirmed that this film will be called "Ninja Turtles".

"These Autobots are like a teenage kids, they like to sneak out of the house every once and a while"

    Teenagers can still be badass.

I think that's why the comics started to go TMNT, that way it could be (twentysomething mutant ninja turtles or thirtysomething mutant ninja turtles.) I like the Ninja Turtles just fine.

I wouldn't call that a confirmation. They had to call it somehow on the event. On IMDb they still use the whole name (not that they know something more). But I think the title will change. Right now they use Ninja Turtles as they used Transformers 3 before it was named Dark of the Moon.

Why not just change them to Break dancing geriatric salamanders from Uranus instead of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

What I meant by being more mature is to get rid of comments and action sequences like the one from the beginning of the second movie.

    Watch from 4 min.

Of course I liked this back in the days.

I say just leave well enough alone. It's worked this long, why change it now? I don't think the origins really need to be delved into that much. It's a preposterous concept in the first place. If you're watching it, you shouldn't be saying, "Now how did they ever get to be like that." You should just accept that you knew there were going to be giant turtles who use ninja weapons when you bought your ticket. Leo needs to be a leader, Raph needs to be a hot head, Don needs to be the thinker and Mike needs to be the wild child. If you don't agree with that, watch this and tell me you aren't convinced:

Hot Rod: How'd you beat them?
Kup: I'm trying to remember... There were alot of casualties that day.

    NO!

The reason why people actually loved the turtles was because of the goofy things they did as teenagers. They is what gave the turrles character and personality. If you take away the teenaged aspect, you basically make them into stiffs that the audience cannot relate to

I have a feeling that it's a sensationalism of what Bay said and that he took those words out of the title for marketing reasons if I'm being fair..

Why you don't like these comments and actions, this is why we love them, these goofy comments and actions they do is funny, it's part if there characters, if you take this from there characters it will suck, do you what them to be serious all the time, do you want them to say to the guy they hit go to you home or I'll kick you ass.

To be fair, these were the kind of things they said in the original comics so them being more serious and disciplined wouldn't be blasphemous...plus I'd love to hear that quote in a film

Hope it's not "Immature Radioactive Samurai Slugs" (Remember this on Tiny Toons?)
