I never read any Turtles comics only watched the TV series from 87 and the feature films. The only alien looking thing was Krang and his character really would fit the new alien direction of the new movie. And they never used him in the previous live action movies. I honestly don't remember much from Krang but back in the days he really looked creepy to me.

Krang was more of a comic relief on the show. If they do use him I hope they make him more like Ch'rell. Making him an Utrom, and an actual threat.

Well Bay didn't exactly deny the alien thing.

The alien thing is a done deal. You don't make an official announcement and then change it. The question is how the writers will handle it.

I always thought that if Michael's words were taken "out of the context" he would have mentioned this in his 2 statements that he made since then. But who knows... Everything is possible. And that's the fun of it.
