Haha awesome! XD lol great stuff thanks for sharing
I totally get what he's saying about his role but the way Michael did it was way more fun, his way would have been boring anyways, that's why he's the actor but he's a good one nontheless

Damn this movie is still so badass! XD

    image-541525779.jpg

    We just watched it..
She loved it and laughed at the right moments and my mother joined in later haha even my brother loved seeing this movie again.
She also loved the music and stuff

I think Armageddon was one of the first movies i saw using the movie soundtrack during the film production companies intro's which was totally new and refreshing for that time i remembered.

This movie felt so good again to see.. man.. and that presidents speech was also inspiring and awesome to hear again, and those thrusters on the shuttle and urghh! So much more awesomeness! Man..! i am so glad Michael used NASA again in TF3 this was so freakin exciting!

And you know what.. that love stuff.. let's keep that.. i wouldn't mind Pain and Gain havin some i guess, if there is any of course.

Still the greatest Michael Bay movie I hope he can include plenty of space scenes in TF4 but feel that the TF series has stopped MB from making another epic space movie although he is still young enough to do another at some time in the next few years. No-one can come close to his overall spectacle but movie budgets are getting out of control Armageddon if it were made today would cost $300m+ it has 2.5 movies worth action/effect/spectacle but I still love every moment of this movie its the best popcorn sci-fi summer movie ever made & will never ever be beaten

Loved that outtake video. I always wanted to hear Truman make a comeback to Grace when she has him by the collar. Also remarkable how little Bay's looks have changed since he was 32.

Is the Criterion version available on Blu-ray and will it be remastered in 4K?

    From Variety:

Ah, the internet strikes again. He's apologizing or the "journalists" are twisting his words (again)?

It's such a bad movie that he needs to apologize for it? 15 years later and out of nowhere? Doubtful.

I read the entire Miami Herald interview and I don't think Bay was talking about the movie...as a "bad" movie. He was referring to the technical side of things, the CGI and the editing.

Why the hell would he apologize for Armageddon? That's a movie I'd be proud to have on my resume.

    I smell shenanigans.

No need to apologize Michael, it is/was a great movie.
CGI looked great back than, you did a great job at it.

When Steven Spielberg starts to polish up Saving Private Ryan that bullet scene that went under water in the beginning of the movie thats the moment you can polish up Armageddon IMO.
But i'm saying it still looks great. We watched it with half the family here on BD and was fantastic. two peeps saw it for the first time and they liked it. (This was on a big screen)

Why would Michael need to apologise for Armageddon that's still one of his best movies (personally I think its his best as way more rewatchable than The Rock) everything & I mean everything worked 16 weeks or not the movie works start to finish in a way TF2 never ever could. I hope Michael clears this up on his main page as apologising for this fantastic movie is a little soul destroying for us Bay fans

OK just re-read that Miami Herald article Michael is apologising for the editing of Armageddon that is what the 16 weeks refers to 16 weeks to edit Armageddon so he is apologising for that & ONLY that it seems.

    Panic over

Apology? What the fuck is this?
Even if that statement is about technical aspect, I really don't get it.
No need to apologize about Armageddon. And please, don't "feed" hungry chatters.
Now journalists, bloggers, haters keep mocking about that statement.
