we need triple changers

The problem with triple changers is that both alt modes need to be the same mass. Also, the parts from alt mode need to be completely hidden when the 'bot is in his/her other alt mode.

Indeed we need triple changers and indeed Trail is right. I hope they find a way. I woul love to see Octane or Astrotrain. Though Astrotrain would be very difficult to execute.

I'd like to see them as well, and they would be tough to do. Broadside(if anyone wanted to see him) would be the toughest of all the triplechangers in my opinion. Transforms from robot to jet to aircraft carrier.

Michael Bay or anyone involved, I think a robot with two different alt modes would be nice to have in the next trilogy. I hope someone can upload that fan mad film displaying Blitzwing transform from Tank to JEt mode.. it was really great.

You can barely see the transformation into the tank, I think there was some cheating going on there.

It alos seemed like the metal had to bend, something which ILM tries to avoid.

That Blitzwing video looked terrible, but hey... Bay and his team did really well on the first 3 movies, why can't they do well on the 4th and if they decide to include triple changers?

Broadside would be dern near impossible. Very little military weapons have the mass of an aircraft carrier. And he'd have to be as big as a skyscraper. Astrotrain maybe the closest one possible. A locomotive is smaller than a shuttle but it could be made to be longer and bigger, especially if it's an old-school locomotive. But making the classic triple changer would be/is EXTREMELY difficult for all the reasons mentioned above. With Blitzwing, you have to find someplace to hide the tank treads in fighter jet mode and the wings in tank mode.

Megatron was more of a "flying tank" than a triple changer. The wings on the sides of his treads are evidence for that. (Not to mention that he always seemed to be out of focus in vehicle mode, probably was a cost cutting measure.)

Oh my, I shudder at that thought, especially seeing how incredibly hard it is to transform a Leader Class toy. A triple changer will have to come with a 10 page booklet and an instructional DVD.

You can't even see the actual transformations as to where all the parts hide. They just morph or materialize out of nowhere.

I say no to Triple changers unless they were triple changers like Mixmaster and Megatron in ROTF

If ILM was told to create an animation video displaying Blitzwing transform, I'm sure it would be 10x's better.
