That said, I'm all for a totally new kind of location for the third act, but that doesn't mean it can't be a populated area.
    Yup thats true, i agree.
For me a desert or snow landscape is not that interresting, you need hills and mountains and such, it all depends on the view you have there and thats something personal, personal taste maybe..
When i Transform i release rockets with nanobot-viruses that destroys you from within... the fuel inside you will turn into acid, metal will melt instantly...

Bermuda Triangle. Sounds logical. Could be REALLY cool.

That is true. Like when Optimus and Sentinel were talking in that open field...where ever it was, they did stand out and look more CGI than in the urban setting.

I want to see something that would top the Driller + Building scene in DOTM (specifically, in terms of computing and rendering power.) Picture a scene with so much sh*t going on in it, that ILM would have to start working NOW.

    Like...their entire surroundings getting destroyed/swallowed up around them...WHILE they're fighting...WHILE flying a million miles an hour...WHILE standing upside down...WHILE getting massacred by a swarm of Insecticons...WHILE they're playing chess............BLINDFOLDED?!!!

That's way too simple for ILM.

Some time ago I've dreamed I was standing on a medium-sized mountain and looking at another mountain which collapsed. Then the mountain on which I was standing on started to collapse too (before the dream turned quite weird). It was a nightmare, but looked really impressive nonetheless.
I think there could be a scene where the ground on which the autobots stand collapses (probably because of some Decepticon activity), f.i. in a city or on a snowy mountain.

The only real way to top the city battle from DOTM would be a full-on no-holds-barred war sequence directly above Earth's orbit.

Ive always been dreaming of a fight scene taking place in a rain/lightning storm. the mood would be very dark, and the battle would be very personal and aggressive. more physical rather than guns. but imagine rain dripping and pouring off these bots with the darkened sky. what a freakin gorgeous scene! would definately be a huge challenge for the animators thats for sure, but i think it would be worth it.

1 word. Unicron. They would indeed need to start working now just to get his transformation proper.
