Who would like to see Megatron, Starscream and/or Soundwave back somehow

No, Michael Bay said once characters die thats it no do overs, once they die they stay dead. It would have been nice though.

Bay also said he was done with TF after Dark of the Moon, and see what: he does a fourth. So anything can happen ($$$).

They already resurrected Megatron once. Bringing him back from the dead yet again would be tired and boring.

I'd rather see a whole new league of villains introduced to challenge the Autobots than do a retread of the old Autobot/Decepticon conflict; Quintessons, anyone?

No! No more characters coming back to life. ..i mean, the whole resurrection thing..it was cool for the plot for TF2, but once is enough. One plot per movie. Otherwise, if they did come back, we would never know when a character actually dies for good and it would become too repetitive and boring...

No, dead characters should stay dead. They could be brought back with Dark Energon or something, but I would rather have a new villain.

I would be the first to admit however (and i'm sure there are more that do) that I wouldn't mind seeing more Shockwave, perhaps he caught be brought back...

I'm almost ....99% positive that Megatron will not return. I wish Starscream would though. Right now, I don't know whether to believe Bay about the "Dead robots will stay dead" statement or not since he is doing a TF4 now after saying TF3 was the last one.

Personally, I'm not too fussed about the Decepticons coming back (unless it's Galvatron ) but I'd really like to see Ironhide come back some how, however unlikely/impossible it is. I was gutted when Sentinel busted him

Starscream's head exploded.
Soundwave had his head blown off.
Megatron's head was ripped off with an axe between the eyes.
Shockwave got his spine(?) ripped out.

Might be a bit hard for them to be brought back. Their deaths spoke finality.

Also, Ironhide's head rolled off while he rusted away to nothing. Think he's done too.

I'd really like to see Soundwave at least back.. he's like a legendary character that got little screen time He also came off a little on the dumb side which was disappointing. =(

I'd say bring back Ironhide....I still argue that. It was a primary disappointment that it looked like he was really going to get to fight in DOTM and he dies...He and Sideswipes stand off is still the most memorable moment for me in DOTM.


Outside that give us Galvatron, Unicron and Grimlock and I think everyone would be happy.

simple you cannot remove them.

They did try before to remove main characters (like "Headmasters" generation, right after G1... fans miss them, and they bring them back). They try also to change autobot and decepticon logos in G2, didnt work, so bring back old ones for next show. They try to replace/kill/rename them several times, and didnt work.

Soundwave = Soundblaster (headmasters, and then soundwave for all the other shows up to date)
Starscream = Starscream ( G1. the movie, megatron kill him, next season, unicron revive him)
Megatron = Galvatron (G1. the movie, and then megratron for all the other shows up to date)

and by this days in that crap show "Prime" (bad art direction), 30 years later they still there. So historically proved, you cannot remove them and I hope they wont fall in that mistake. (same for Optimus, didnt work with Ultramagnus, Rodimus, Chromedome, Cerebros, Star Saber and actually was wierd looking at him in "zombie mode" in season 4, G1.... and felt really good to have him back for next show "pretenders" and next ones up to date). They can kill/replace/rename them, but they will look ridiculous when next show they are back.

Somehow Megatron has to come back, cause he IS the Decepticon leader. I don't care if they just do it like in TF2 and give him some new parts and a new spark piece. He got shot and beat up in the cartoons in the 80's all the time, but he never died and always came back.
The Decepticons just won't be the Decepticons, if Megatron isn't there to rule them...

Megatron may be the Decepticon Leader but the last two movies didn't reflect that. In ROTF and DOTM he was reduced to being nothing more than a lackey and taking orders from The Fallen and Sentinel. The only time he was shown as the leader was in the first film and even then he didn't have much screen time.

If The fourth film was a reboot of sorts, yes. Megatron and Starscream should come back. But if it's not and takes place years after the events of DOTM I don't see it happening.
