Scourge could be the new Decepticon leader (like he was in Robots in Disguise). Bruticus could also be cool. Perhaps Unicron could be done in a way similar to how he was in Prime.

Please, no Megatron.

I like the idea of the Autobots having a rogues gallery, that is, the Autobots having to deal with the "villain of the week" rather than the same old Decepticons for each movie. It makes things more interesting.

Hell, there doesn't even need to be a physical bad guy. The "villain" could be a huge catastrophic force of nature.

Actually, it could be kinda cool if it's another type of alien, perhaps something similar to the villains in G1's Atlantis Arise.

A new common enemy for both Decepticons and Autobots would be fine. Like the Quintessons. But I guess after the last news it won't happen. It'll be the same old fight D-cons vs. Autobots. Although I don't want it I'm guessing they'll bring Galvatron.

I am agreein' with Scorponok. I think it would be pretty cool to see a small con able to combine with a fortress sized body. All out battle between Fortress Maximus and Scorponok? Or maybe Metroplex vs Trypticon? Or Hey! Why not Leozak? Or Sixshot? Also think it would be pretty interesting to bring in the bounty hunter Devcon. One not on either side.

Galvatron. He can bring his crew of Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps along. Give him additional firepower with groups like the Stunticons and the Triplechangers. Combine him with Unicron as Unicron's "creation". You can use countless Sweeps ala the Protoform Decepticons from the other movies.

I'd go with Unicron as the main villain, and use Menasor as the secondary which in turn lets you use the Stunticons which would be kickass. Also the combaticons have potential (brutus, onslaught, blast off, vortex, brawl and swindle). Basically, there is a ton of transformers lore left to be used.

I'd say Galvatron, but not just a reincarnated Megatron, but one that is more of a combination of Megatron and Sentinel, where he has Megatron's thirst for domination combined with Sentinel's superior knowledge.

In DOTM Brains said that he could tell everybody "about all of the fun planets to hang out in". He may be hinting to there being other lifeforms out there, lifeforms that the Autobots could fight.
