Transformers 4 Update

Paramount showed TF4's new logo at a special presentations about upcoming productions.
Unfortunately there are still no images but here's comingsoon's description:

The 2014 section kicked off with the next entry of the Transformers franchise. Obviously there was no footage to show, but the title does reveal a clever logo, the right half of the standard transformers symbol acting as the stem of the number four.

Transformers symbol? Don't they mean the Autobot symbol? I'm having a hard time visualizing this.

I've been thinking the same thing. Last time I checked Transformers doesn't have a standard symbol, it's just "Transformers". He probably don't know what he's talking about and means the Autobot sign.

I dont get it why there is a need to attack back so unnecessarily agressive on that person who wrote those sentences. Be happy that there was a logo and I mean... I hope you will be able to sleep after you hear this, but for non-die-hard TR fans it is simply a Transformers franchise logo/symbol etc autobot or decepticon makes no difference.

No attack from me. I was just confused.

On another note, if it is the Autobot symbol, I'm curious how they integrated a number four into it. Anybody with good Photoshop skills wanna take a stab at it?

Nobody is attacking here, but just wondering. Because it differs storywise depending on whether it's Autobots, Decepticon symbol or just a logo, particularly when the reporter says she finds it a "clever" logo "acting as the stem". It's quite normal for movie fans to be interested in the plot direction.

That could actually work. Still confused though as the quote said the rights side of the symbol acted as the number four.

Maybe it's something like this, but hopefully not as bad:

The upper part of the 4 obviously is the rotated forehead of the autobot. One could slightly rotate the right upper part (from your perspective) of the head, too.
