No surprises there :lmao we have the new "Bay Babe!"

I would think that Bay might of actually try to do an Oscar worthy film here, but there is so much material in the story that matches his trademark style, that I think the film will be too sweet for those awards.

Yep! If I were a film maker, trying to win an Oscar would be the least of my goals. I'd rather create something that an audience would like to see. Not make material for old people to deeply analyze and observe in depth development of the story and characters.

Finally a female cast. Bar Paly looks great and at least she has some acting experience. I watched her in Ruins and Hyenas. Poor movies but you have to start from somewhere. So we have an Israelian actress playing a Romanian girl.

To me, that doesn't even sound remotely close to what would help in the eye of some decision support. More like glossing over to make it sound great.

Was actually really hoping for a familiar face in respect to the "character" movie that it's being sold for, no the typical damsel in distress thing. Meh, not even officially confirmed and I'm already getting worked up.

I dont think so, i checked their site like two weeks ago and looked at the projects they were working on and future projects and didnt see any Pain and Gain info or poster.

And Bar Paly looks gorgeous but i'm still sceptical really dont care if she's Isrealian girl, hope it's a good enough looking girl for MiamiPete if he Googled her.

As far as PAIN & GAIN being Award-worthy . . . let me think. As a comic-yet-pitch-dark feature with A-level stars, I believe

PAIN & GAIN will be on the same intellectual/entertainment/artistic level as FARGO, PULP FICTION, and THE USUAL SUSPECTS. Weren't those flicks critically acclaimed?

It's a modern, glibly ironic, funny, muscular, existential, violent, sexy, scary, paranoid thriller.

It's end-of-the-century Miami.

Yay another anorexic modell.... Why P&G will never be close to Fargo or Pulp Fiction is because those movies had cast actresses who could actually act and were not simply eye-candies. The male cast is excellent on the other hand.
