The National Defense Authorization Act - USA is now a Police State.

This week in USA the Senate passed S.1867 known as the National Defense Authorization Act, which gives the military the right to declare the entire USA a warzone, arrest, indefinitely detain and torture you without trail or charge.

When I left USA to pursue my professional career I never would have imagined that our citizens would be so ignorant as to let something like this happen in our life time.

After 9/11 the mindless masses let the POTUS commit treason on a massive scale, wipe his ass and piss all over the Constitution, invade a foreign country, make billions of dollars through his various companies (Haliburton etc) by making congress award them with various infrastructure and corporate rebuilding contracts and them blame all of it on one of his friends and his companies biggest share holders - yes, that's right! Osama Bin Laden's family were one of the first and biggest investors in GW Bush's company Arbusto Energy. When i speak of 9/11 being an inside job I don't mean it lightly, If you actually got off your fat ass and climbed down from your high horse to look at the facts you'd know what I mean

It was a tragedy for two things - yes it was a horrible event on human history but also a sign of the times, human intelligence and ignorance has hit an all time low.

So, I ask you now... after the events of 9/11 and the recent events (police brutality) surrounding the OWS movement, what's it like living in a Fascist Police State?

If i were an American i would be for this i think.. yes, IT SOUNDS like freedom is being taken away from the US people with this being passed but with this being passed a big scaled attack like 9/11 on the US will have less chance of succeeding because the US military has more freedom in counter attacking these terrorists i think, the less people they need to ask permission to fire on the better for US peoples safety in the future if you ask me..., but the situation between Iran and the USA is not ideal for the moment.. Iran just shot a US spy drone out of the sky and they are furious about it and getting the masses to start hating the USA even more with this.. i think the US should keeps its freakin hands out of Iranian airspace and let the EU handle it for the moment US military is to dominant and they feel threatened by it and they think the EU is like a schoolboy with a stick compared to the US so it's the perfect situation i think, but if the US keep poking Iran there will probably be a second 9/11 or a third Pearl Harbor in the US... it's up to Obama to choose which path he wants to be on.. but then again if US backs down the US thinks it will be a pussy by doing so.. but then again US needs to be smart and be cunning in its strategies...

Except...President Obama hasn't signed it yet, and actually plans on vetoing it.

Unless you're confident that Congress can override his veto with a 2/3 vote (or that the president suddenly changes his mind), then we're not a police state just yet.

And I can't tell you what it's like living in a fascist police state because so far I haven't seen the military detain any of my friends and family in the boring and economically stagnate area I live in that the rest of the nation ignores.

I know what you mean but that's for Americans living in America, not for people who live outside America.. or at least not for Netherlands and Belgium here, i know the US has military bases around/near countries that are not part of the western society that we are living in/ countries that are against the ways we practice things around here, countries that are against us for some reason or who act hostile towards us.. and i believe the EU supports that also and i agree with them cause it's keeping us mostly safe here.

The US govt have the authority to use the Military and National guard against their citizens, these police sheriffs know that and they know it's illegal and proof that the police state is in full effect. This is the same thing that happened after 9/11 - hundred of WWII verterans, police, fire, medical, EMS, academic professionals, demotion experts, CIA, FBI and NSA operatives all came forward to swear under oath that the events of 9/11 were not what the public was being lead to believe, that in fact it was a military black flag operation, high treason and highly illegal.

Well that's indeed wrong if you put it like that but there's a big part of context missing from what your saying, does the US think people are going to turn into a Zombie or something? :lmao
Oh yeah i believe that too that there are certain things agencies had to be quit about or had to twist the facts a bit or all the way to save their own asses, and there are always people who can not handle the pressure of lying about these sort of things on such a giant scale and they as a result leave the agency and write books about it telling how it really was to a certain point, to a certain point so he wont break the rules.. so even the people that say these things are probably seeing money in this and they are also not saying the truth 100% or adding things to it or they had a position on one of those agencies where the situation is also a bit blurry for them and they might tell us things about events that never took place, so there are not many people who tell the truth, we will never know the truth about SOooo many things in history.

I just think that if there's a group with a terrorist in it, and you happen to be in that same group, don't you think the government has the privileged to investigate everything about you if they suspect you of terrorism? and if you have nothing to hide then you should tell them everything and just co-operate with them, easy as that.

Did you know that over 40% of US congressmen have had previous convictions for various crimes - child porn, money laundering, white collar crimes, alcohol & drugs, rape, domestic abuse, Gang connections, DUI etc... this was one of the issues that the OWS movement tried to highlight recently. Corrupt Congressmen setting up fake businesses to launder money or rape the US citizens of their hard earned money and then getting away with it (incl corporate sponsorship and heavy payouts) - i classify that as financial terrorism.

What about 9/11 - GW Bush and Cheney were warned multiple times by various intelligence agencies about strange communications, payoffs and insider trading days before the attack. Also 6 months before the attack happened Larry Silverstein (the previous owner of the WTC) made an amendment to his insurance policy to pay out triple in the event of an terrorist attack. He was well aware of the multiple engineering and health issues within the WTC towers and instead of paying the various millions of dollars to have it cleaned, retrofitted and upgraded the chose to go along with the 9/11 hoax and cash in on the aftermath.

Now with the rise of the police state anyone caught investigating this corruption can be illegally arrested, detained, tortured and branded an "enemy of the state".

The US is a large country and there are so many voices.. maybe there are to many voices for IT to be lead and run as well as the best functioning countries in the world.. it's sad.. and i think this is the main problem.
But there are some people helping, like that guy who went backpacking through every place in the USA and wrote down every single thing those people wanted to be changed in those towns and counties.. that book was thicker then the bible and i think that book can really help the US and that guy made it for Obama but i don't think anything has changed... its very sad..
