Well here is another unconfirmed rumor floating around TFW2005. Rosie Huntington Whiteley's Facebook fan page announced that there will be some TF4 news coming very soon. Maybe it's nothing but still some movement. I wonder what happened with Michael's meetings with the studio at the end of 2011.

I agree. To be honest, I say let all the other cast go their own ways and keep maybe just Lennox. But have him basicly be in the new General role as lead to NEST and have a whole new younger NEST crew that has maybe 2 or 3 new TFs teamed up with them that work within NEST. Like Hound for starters.

We know there has to be more of these movies. It's one of those uber successful franchises. It's potential has grown instead of going weaker. It's a sign that people want to see more of it. I think there can be more of them. It's very tempting to go back, you know when I see Bumblebee's face and it's just a... the thing that I'll hand it off to somebody else is.... you know. But I'm really in the need of doing another movie right now. I need something creatively I need to do something different. Now I'm more confident that he did some kind of deal with Paramount and indeed he'll return to direct TF4 & TF5 after P&G. I guess it'll happen in early - mid 2013. Especially after these two rumors:

It appears that the key to Paramount getting Bay to commit to Transformers 4 is Pain and Gain. The studio is in final negotiations with the director to return to the Transformers franchise, with the understanding that Paramount will greenlight Pain and Gain and let Bay film that first. It goes without saying that Bay could finance Pain and Gain himself if he had to, but the easy greenlight combined with the Tranformers payday may be too good to pass up.

Pain and Gain, of course, is also the major carrot being dangled before Bay by Paramount to get him aboard a fourth Transformers movie, so Gain's development should be of keen interest to those interested in giant human and synthetic lunks.

Reason filming will not begin this year is Because bay wants to take a break from Transformers before he even considers a TF4, plus he wants to make a movie he planned for years named Pain and Gain this year

re imagining probably means... dont expect the usual, humans have comedic diolugue, robots fight, humans do their own thing again with comedy, robots fight, suddenly humans get serious, hour long fight at end that focuses more on humans than the robots. a continuation of the story is a sure thing im sure, i just dont think they are going to approach it as a Go Big, or Go Home kind of deal again. this makes sense, cuz after 3 films, the action was intense, getting bigger and bigger, and the bots still not getting as much attention as they probably should. they need to take a step back. and this reimagining is probably a result from us, the fans. everybody keeps saying, less humans, more robots, more characterization for the bots, so on and so on. im all for reimaginin. the series needs it.

if TF4 was approached exactly the same as the last 3, then i would for sure be bored with the series. for instance, the final battle of TF3 was great and all, but where were the robots? i do think that they improved a great deal for the third film, and i loved it, very happy with it. the bots did get more characterization and screen time, but that sort of got wasted for me when you had this half hour fight in the end that didnt use the transformers the way it should have had. i guess thats how it went in RoTF as well for the final battle. but still!!!!, i love the third! jus sayin! it needs to be more 50/50 with the bots and the humans. so far, the first film did this best in my opinion with their interactions between the races. once the bots showed up, sam, mikayla and the transformers were constantly interacting, and that final battle focused the most on the Autobots vs Decepticons, rather than a human vs decepticon fight.

But i like the human story being there. For me, it needs to stay there. It just makes it accessible and relatable. Sure, give the autobots more characterization! that would be awesome! However, do NOT get rid of the human hero aspect in any way!

Well yea, I wouldn't want the humans to go either. LIke I said in my original post, right before my last post where I corrected myself that you quoted me from, the humans and robots need to at least be 50/50.

Definitely not. After three films of dealing with that, I think its safe to stray away from that now. It's not necessary anymore.
