Rumor: TF4 & TF5 Start Filming Back to Back in Late 2012!

I know that this is not the first time we hear about this rumor, but this time it's from a different source who proved to be absolutely legit with his statements about DOTM even before they started filming. Here is what he said at TFW2005:

Yesterday I got confirmation that they will be making a Transformers 4 & 5, I can not say how I am involved with the movie(s) But they are planning on shooting both back to back late 2012.

So this is the third source for a back to back shoot in 2012. And I personally trust this one 99%.

Even I will expand the rumor and say that I think Michael will be returning as a director. The reason I say that is because of his latest statement here that he is starting prepping his new movie. The reason to start prepping for P&G so early after DOTM could be because he wants to be free at the end of 2012 for TF. This would be great. This is just my interpretation so take it with a grain of salt. But if you look at this article from a month ago, you'll see that it starts to become reality:

Michael Bay has previously stated that he will not return to direct Transfomers 4, although it looks like he may come back after all. Sources claim the director may be able to squeeze in his bodybuilding movie Pain and Gain before Transfomers 4. Paramount is eyeing a late 2012 or early 2013 start for Transfomers 4, so Michael Bay may be able to make Pain and Gain between then and now

If this rumor is right, then we can expect a 2014 release of TF4.

Exactly! I would never start a thread with a rumor just from anybody. You guys still don't realize it but this is the best news we've got about TF4. Nobody expected that they will start shooting so soon. Actually just after less than a year we'll start to feel the hype of the shooting. The only question is will Michael produce or direct. First I thought that he'll only produce, but now with the quick shoot of P&G coming so soon after the exhausting DOTM shoot, I think otherwise.

Oh, you're talking about TFW2005. Now I get it. It's really strange that they tagged this as spam when they have a whole thread section named "news and rumors" and this is indeed just a rumor. Also don't forget that TFW2005 is watched closely by Hasbro and other TF related companies who may ask to pull down a thread. It happens all the time.

WOW! The rumor is on every major movie site now. Of course this doesn't prove anything but I love the buzz. Especially in recent years even officially confirmed directors are being often dropped at some point.
Still I love this quote:

Really sond like someone made it up, but you never know. We have to wait for the next week.

Actually they shoot them both simultaneously and then release them separated by 1 year. For the VFX for the second part they mainly work during that year that separates the two movies. Like they did with Back to the Future 2 and 3, Matrix 2 and 3, Pirates 2 and 3, LOTR 2 and 3, Hobbit 1 and 2, HP 7 1 and 2, etc.

So who's J.S.? Could he be Jason Statham? Or these guys are just messing with us.
If you remember the first rumor that appeared about Statham also mentioned the back to back shoot which turned out to be their real intention. So if half of the rumor is right I guess we have to consider that the other half may be also right. I hope we get some announcement before New Year after Michael finishes with his meetings.

52 people viewing the TF3 forum.. impressive.. but I'm going to wait for Michael and not believe these journalists and actors who are trying to create some sort of hype around the next TF's movies so they get attention for it, they might "make us happy with a dead sparrow" as we say it here in the Netherlands.. so i rather wait before cheering for nothing..
