    Default Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Anyone get AC:R yet? It came out yesterday and so far it's been a blast! The storyline is of course always entertaining! I heard that they are thinking of making the AC series into an annual release which I really hope doesn't happen because it'll just turn into a Call of Duty sort of title.

I loved AC 2 and played most of it (it's one huge and enjoyable game!) but I haven't had a chance to pick up the new one yet. Too many good games have been released over the last month - BF3, MW3, Dance Central 2, Halo: Combat Evolved anniversary edition etc...

I hope they don't make it an annual release, slowly they'll lose the appeal of the game and start taking short cuts to meet the release dates so we'll see the maps becoming smaller, game play will be less interesting and graphic may suffer.

There's potential for this game to be developed into a movie, when i watched "Prince of Persia" it kinda reminded me of Assassins Creed. I think it would be cool to show the story of the modern day "Knights Templar" developing the Animus, finding and kidnapping the descendants of the Assassin lineage and sending the descendants "back in time" via the Animus's neural/genetic interface to look for certain sacred objects or stop devastating world changing events.

    It's already in the works.

Great game!!! And I got a GREAT surprise when I ordered the game and got it home. When I opened the package, I saw that it was the special version that included the original first Assassins Creed game as well!! Good for me, since I started to play the series with AC 2 and I didn't have the first game before. So first, I played the first Assassins Creed and when I got through that game, I went on and started to play Revelations.
It's a game that will last a looong time. There's no way you'll be able to finish it in a day or two! It's just great! For me, most likely game of the year, but I haven't played Uncharted 3 yet and people say that that game will be the game of the year...
These movie news about making Assassins Creed to a movie sounds great!!! I have no suggestions other than that I hope that they do the wall climbing and jumps and stuff with wires like a la Matrix and not with CGI, cause the wire stuff just looks more realistic!!
Aah, scratch that! Screw the wire stunts and CGI crap! Just hire 10-20 of the worlds greatest Parkour specialists and you'll have you crew who can do the jumps and wall climbing without any wires or safety nets!! Check these guys out!!!!!!!!!
