Alright man, I'll do that... I realize it's disrespectful to the fans of this specific medium and have to sift this bullshit on their thread. I know I hate doin' it on threads that I'm interested in. Sorry you took it the wrong way and got upset enough about it respond, and start this fascinating repetoire, fast enough that you forgot 4th grade sentence structure... and coherence. My bad dude.

Alright, lets agree to disagree. I think both of you should count to ten, take deep breaths, and crack some good nature jokes. I want to here what both of yah' have to say. Knowing Rad longer then Sloppy, it would be that I might side with him BUT I want us all to get along. I think hearing what someone who doesn't like TF:A will help us see both sides. The few of us that like Animated should always give those who don't like it, a chance to say why. That's why I listened to Sloppy. I agree with his 'teeth' issue but it truely doesn't bother me. I mean, it is just a cartoon. And with Rad, I understand where you come from as well. A advent(is that the word?) fan of TF(and perhaps Animated, I can't remember how much you enjoy it) who doesn't like it when people say rude stuff about something they like. We all get a little tired of people coming in and making rude remarks. I guess, that after a while, that steam has to go somewhere. Right? Anyways, Why don't we all take deep breaths and start over, 'kay? Young and old, G1 fan and TF:A fan, we all love Transformers. And that's why we're here. To talk and listen about Transformers. For that we must respect each other.

I don't hold any grudges, so could you two start over and get the POV's of both sides? I want to talk to and hear both of you guys.

If I misinterperted(sp?) either of you two, let me know.

Also, in G1, didn't Alpha Trion(That his name? He's the one who rebuilt Ariel and Orion.) have hair? Lol!

Oh, and this comes from a 15 year old, teenage girl. Peace!

Yeah, Trailbreaker is 15. I am 14 (turning 15 in june) and I guess Movin's 15. Anyways, we all love Transformers and damn proud of it!! I like the G1 cartoon too, all of the generations rock, but I wouldn't exactly say that I'm a fan of Transformers Energon.

Thats cool.. I've liked all of the series so far.. well.. except for Beast Machines.. all that Transmutating spiritual BS... it was the stupidest thing I'd ever seen.. Transformers.. TransFORM.. not TransMUTATE. I didn't mind the Armada/Energon/Cybertron series. And this Animated series at first looked too bubble gum anime kid wrapped at first.. but its grown on me and I don't mind it that much. I like it better than Beast Machines, thats for sure. I'm the same age as Rad.. 31, and will be 32 in May. If you ever have questions about the G1 series.. ask away, I most likely would have an answer for you. If not, I can always watch one of the episodes over again to see the reference.

HOLY CRAP you're old... you sure you aren't Kup or Ratchet? lol.. kidding.. wait.. Bay is 43? now why was I thinking he was 37??

as far as someone elses post about being 22 and growing up on G1.. Hmm.. 1984 is when G1 came out.. its 2008.. that means 24 years of Transformers. G1 lasted thru 1988. G2 came out and lasted thru.. what was it.. 1990? So in 1990 that 22 year old would have been.. what.. 4 years old? I fail to see how they.. "grew up" on it.. from the sounds of it, they still aren't grown up. I have to laugh when they sit there trying to make themselves sound smart with big words and then antagonize others with their spelling or grammar. Oh well.. whatever.. trivial BS.. back to better things like waiting for the next episode of the Animated series to come out!!! oh.. and Transformers 2 in 2009 of course!

I love all Transformers but I am a little more critical about some series. Armada was what made me a fan but now when I look back at the Unicron Trilogy, probably the only good things that came from those three series were the Unicron action figure and the 2004 Transformers video game. Energon was horrible. I have never seen Robots in Desguise. I would have to say G1 is the best cuz it was the originator. But as soon as Transformers: the Movie came out, the series started going downhill CUZ THERE WAS NO OPTIMUS PRIME!!! Therefore I only follow the events of the first two seasons. If they were to reboot G1 one day, please don't include season three. Beast Wars and Beast Machines don't seem to please me because the alt modes concerned me (Optimus Primal as a munky and Megatron as Barney, Yesssss). Now Animated I like, they did a good job reintroducing G1 stuff while "21st Century-ing it up" to keep it consistant with today's kids, such as Grimlock being the more predator like T-Rex rather than the tall lumbering beast like he was in G1.

Yeah sorry, was drinkin' last night after work and was havin' fun fuckin' with that dude. As far as how old I was during the run of G1, I couldn't tell you what age I was when I started watching it... two or three maybe? Anyways... watched it for the next two or three years it was on. Coincidently I aged during that period... weird right? Plus I had them all on VHS. I still have my VHS copy of the movie somewhere... more for nostalgic reasons I guess because I don't own a VCR.

Sweet, wish I had G1 on tape/DVD. I'm gonna go on a hunt for some this weekend. I still have the VCR that I had when I was 5 and it works PERFECTLY! I don't even own anything on VHS!

Duuuude! Are we on the same wavelength or somethin'? I love disney(I've been so nolstalgic about Dinsey lately) and used to watch their VHS all the time! Now I don't even now where my tapes are. If the even work. But my VHS is like the best thing ever! It never failed me. It's dusty right now but works so well! I wonder if I should sell it.

I have to say that Blitzwing is my fav Decepticon. I love his voice and aditude! Bumblebee-"who uses ice as a weapon anymore? What are you, a refridgerator?" Blitzwing-"You want heat, I'll show you heat!" *transforms into a tank in midair* "Oh slag, not again!" (My fav scene so far!)

Well.. if you want the whole series on tape.. I've got an extra set that I'm trying to get rid of for $10. It's from when I was a kid and actually taped them. So it shows everything.. and its decent quality.. It's not DVD Quality, and its not $59.99 a season. But its all of the episodes.. Just in case you were interested..

Even if I bought a VCR I wouldn't want to watch my tape... it's so worn out and shitty. I'm pretty sure that the last time that I watched it was kind of like watching fuzzy porno that only halfway came in on channel 79 back before cable boxes. That may not make any sense to the younger people on this forum... but for the older guys here that post on a transformers thread know exactly what I'm talkin' about............... shame on you.

By the way, did anybody here invest in HD-DVD anything? We'll be hearin' jokes about it far from now like it was the beta-max and shit. Though I can't tout that I'm an owner of a Blu-Ray player yet, I was always sure that they would win out. I'm afraid to buy a PS3 because I'd drop all the extra money I have on movies for it. I've got between 375-425 dvd's, it's an addiction. But I'd like to hear from people who made the choice of HD-DVD and watched it fail... I can only imagine the heartbreak.
