I think this forum section deserves such thread. I love movie trailers and I have a collection of 400+ trailers that I like.
It'll be great if you guys post new movie and game trailers here that you like and maybe discuss it. It doesn't matter if the movie is good. The question is to like the visuals, the music, the pacing, the editing of it.

Please if you post a trailer just post the link of it. Do not embed the actual video in the thread because in time the thread will become very heavy and many people with bad internet connections and weak laptops may have problems.Thanks!

Wheee what a great thread! I consider trailer watching as one of my hobbies. SOemtimes I end up for half an hour on youtube just watching trailer after trailer after trailer. I also very much enjoy watching trailers in the cinema before the movie starts.

I came across the War Horse trailer first on big screen the other week.

So fun how you can tell after the first few seconds that it is a Spielberg movie. Even if it is extreamly kitch there is a pure, honest a bit naive sence of classic movie style to that trailer what I really loved. WIth the music, with the fade to blacks, with how the writings in between the scenes appear. Especially from 2.13 first the black, than the horse, than how the msuic comes in and than the titel.

Second trailer worth to mention is not because it is so good. It is because its so awkward in relation to the movie.

Whta I love about this trailer is that it is the movie. If you see the trailer you see the movie. Even the story line follows scene after scene what is ahpenning in the movie and everything what is in the movie is in the trailer. Basically Twillight2 is the extreamly boringly extended version of its trailer. You absically miss nothing from the movie if you watch the trailer but dont watch the movie. This means that a, Twillight2 is a bad movie b, this is a bad trailer

Here is a great example of two completely different trailers of one film. The first one is a 1:40 min. teaser that you can't understand anything about the movie. The second is a 3:40 min. trailer that actually explains you the whole plot of the movie, but still makes you wanting to see the movie. I'm talking about the new David Fincher movie - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I especially love the teaser although such rhythmic montage is considered against the editing rules. Love the music too.

I honestly don't know what to think about this one. Looks like a mixture of the awesome Stardust and not so good Alice in Wonderland. And Kristen Steward playing something different from Twilight? She looks strange in armor.
But still it's a new fantasy movie.

The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret of The Unicorn.

This movie has caught my interest. Visual effects look stunning and the combo of steven spielberg and peter jackson sounds amazing. Seems like good fun action and an interesting journey type of story.

I really hate that this game is only for Xbox and not PS3. Well I have to play it on my PC again. Haven't used it in years for playing games. I guess I'll have to upgrade. : rol

Do you know what really grinds my gears? The fact the Microsoft and Sony can't put aside their differences and set up a dedicated server for online gaming. One day I'd love to go head to head with my Sony PS3 friends and play Counter-strike, Halo, COD MW2, Black Ops, MW3 & Battlefield 3 together.

Red Tails

Saw a tv spot for this a few weeks back and it caught my eye.
Then saw a full length trailer when I saw J Edgar.
I'm a fan of pretty much any movie pertaining to World War II.
THis seems like its got a great story, great direction, and the acting looks pretty good as well.
Also not to mention that the action looks fantastic, some of the shots look similar to one's that Bay used in Pearl Harbor.
Count me in for this one.
