LOL. I am so sorry Nelson. Can you please correct that? Did not realize I typed it out like that:lmao So no chance of us getting the 7 disc set in stores at some later date? That sucks. I hope they at least do maybe a directors cut edition series later on. Im sure there has to be stuff that could have been in all 3 films that Bay cut or there was not enough time for and can be added later right?

My thoughts too. I guess something went wrong with the special features for DOTM. I don't know but it feels like it was rushed although we had the long wait. I think Michael was too busy with all the different sets that were released and he didn't have time for this. The director's commentary is 90% of the special features I really hope we'll get it at a later time (though doubt it).

The more I look at the set the more I like it. And looking at the picture with the finger I figured that actually it's not that bulky.

WHY, LORD, WHY NO COMMENTARY??? that´s THE number one thing i always adore the most on mr bay´s movies!!! What is it with Germany that they don´t put his audio commentary on other movies of his too? there was nothing on the island, and i missed it on bad boys 2, too! damn, i really hope that this will be fixed in the future!

yeah, like i said, alot of stuff that should have been there, isn't there.. alot of stuff that's there, we have seen before.. I'm not 2 happy with the extras, still bought the set tho.. I doubt they will add anything in the future.. i think, once this is out, they are done with it.. all focus will go on Pain & Gain..

But how is it that movies like Avatar can get another home release with 45 minutes of extra footage added to the movie (not just on an extra disc not used stuff) but added into the movie itself as well as a bonus dvd with extras and we cant get even half this in any TF movie?

Like it mention before, what you saw in theatre is the final/director's cut. As for Avatar, they wanted those in theatrical release but they were running out of time and money to finishing up the effects. They include those scenes in home video release instead.

Because, basically, almost all of avatar was done in CGI, so that mean that if you have 3h of CGI in your movie, you can probably get a deal if you put more for the DVD/Blu ray. In TF, its alot more real life shots with CGI added in them, so i dont see the producers signing any checks for CGI that wont be put on the screen in the movies. IMO

I still belive that my first 2 screening were slightly longer than the blu ray i currently own. I clearly remember the camera following Carly's ass for 2 or 3 seconds as she walks up the stairs, but the blu ray i bought doesnt show that. I also think i remember hearing Simmons making some sort of comment on the freeway that made you think the dreads were an escort to help protect them, before they attacked.

Yeah there was definitely some small yet noticeable things in the theatrical version that was shortened even on the blu-ray release.

Wait, so if Walmart is selling the 7 disc collectors set too, is this also a signed set? And with it being walmart and like Nelson said, walmart has the exclusive rights to the IMAX ROTF scenes, so do you think the walmart 7 disc set will include the rotf IMAX scenes as well?

looking at the total run time on Walmart's site it says 492. Now I'm sure that run time has nothing to do with any of the extra stuff on the 3 movie's bonus dvds as rotf's bonus stuff was well over 2 hours right? So if that total 492 minutes is just run time for the 3 movies together, we still have 46 minutes of unaccounted run time?

TFTM was 143
ROTF was 149 with IMAX scenes maybe an extra 3 minutes or so?
DOTM was 154

So not counting ROTF IMAX scenes if also added to the 7 disc set 143+149+154= 446 so if there isnt any extra footage in any of the 3 movies, where does the extra 46 minutes come in?

its a screw up. total runtime without the imax is 447 mins. with imax is 450. looks at the regular trilogy. they list 492 mins runtime too.

i got you. But I would at least think (while not robot footage) they would still add back in the extra footage that was released when the first movie was re-released in IMAX with extra scenes.

ordered my copy last night. I am actually really excited for it because of a few things - bonus material for Dark of the Moon, the blue ray of the original transformers (I can't find it anywhere and I got a blue ray player during the year), and the movies as a set. I paid the extra to have it in home on the 31st
