Please keep us updated about the price as soon you hear soemthing. I would really love to buy it but of course price is a sensitive issue Also I still think it would be nice to have some pre-orders for the forum

Actually, I wasn't being sarcastic. I really do anticipate that these things will be bought up in the span of a few minutes. It's a collector's item and enough people will hear about it ahead of time to make it difficult. Perhaps I'm overestimating the interest, but I don't think so.

The regular trilogy costs $50 so this one should be around $100 I think.

I'm guessing it'll retail for approximately $250 USD?

Nelson, do you know if it's strictly limited to 5000 or will it be 5000 for USA and then maybe another batch for worldwide release?

IF there is even another batch, it won't have Bay's signature on it

I think you might be right. The limited edition of the trilogy with the transforming Autobot case costs around $100. So this one should be around $200.

I'm still not sure on one mainly one thing. When is the DOTM deluxe/extended edition Blu-Ray being released in the US? I still haven't purchased DOTM because I'm waiting for the bonus edition with 3 discs, if it's ever going to hit the shelves that is.

The steel box set must make the perfect gift for those that don't own any of the movies. My biggest concern is not knowing exactly what extras/bonus features will be on each movie, and if so, will there be more bonus features or the same??

So now that we know the limited steel set with special features will be released on January 31, then I bet the DOTM edition with special features will be released before Christmas. There will be more profits for the studio this way.

If the 3D Blu-ray is an added bonus to the Ultimate Trilogy Set, will the stand-alone 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack be released on the same day?

Just asking since Blu-ray.com has the release date as December 6, 2011 for the 3D Blu-ray.

IS there anything different from the 3-DVD set, Signature series or regular, content-wise??? I mean, will there be the same behind the scenes info as there are on the regular blu-rays?

How about the languages included? Just English or will it have some of the dubbed tracks? For me is quite important, as I'm the only one in my house who understands English well enough to watch it comfortably.

Why would it be cancelled? Just no updates, so no need for a sticky. I assume when we hear something important, we'll get a new thread.
