Nice sarcasm there. Actually you're right I don't have to worry and that is because of the price of the set and that it won't be advertised, so not many people will know about it. And 5000 is really not a big number worldwide, for example ROTF sold 9,259,894 copies worldwide. Of course not in one day but still an impressive number.

Actually, I wasn't being sarcastic. I really do anticipate that these things will be bought up in the span of a few minutes. It's a collector's item and enough people will hear about it ahead of time to make it difficult. Perhaps I'm overestimating the interest, but I don't think so.

The regular trilogy costs $50 so this one should be around $100 I think.

I think you might be right. The limited edition of the trilogy with the transforming Autobot case costs around $100. So this one should be around $200.

Saw the normal trilogy set in my city today, its the lame edition one.. has 4 disc's.. costs around $57usd

yup, it just got released recently, along with the normal dvd, and the stand alone Blu Ray, no triple play pack here. this set is just the movies together..

I'm still not sure on one mainly one thing. When is the DOTM deluxe/extended edition Blu-Ray being released in the US? I still haven't purchased DOTM because I'm waiting for the bonus edition with 3 discs, if it's ever going to hit the shelves that is.

The steel box set must make the perfect gift for those that don't own any of the movies. My biggest concern is not knowing exactly what extras/bonus features will be on each movie, and if so, will there be more bonus features or the same??

So now that we know the limited steel set with special features will be released on January 31, then I bet the DOTM edition with special features will be released before Christmas. There will be more profits for the studio this way.

How about the languages included? Just English or will it have some of the dubbed tracks? For me is quite important, as I'm the only one in my house who understands English well enough to watch it comfortably.
