Oooh, they're gonna sell a white Razr. I *wonder* where they got that idea from?
http://www.intomobile.com/2011/12/06...-really-white/
Hmmmmm...What’s the deal with white anyway, why is it such a popular color? Call it the urge to be “different”.
bahaha so are you trying to say Apple have trademarked the color white? Trust an iPhone fan to make an arrogant statement like that. I don't get why people even bother buying different color handsets, most people i know keep their phones in colored protective cases anyway.

That may be true, but I think when it comes to the use of varying the colors of electronic devices, Apple pretty much started that with the original iMac and then various iPods. Sure there were exceptions (I remember having a yellow Sony CD player), but most computers were beige, most electronics were (and still are) black, and most phones were some variation of black/gray.Originally Posted by TIMtationX
And obviously while not a phone, the first iPod was white. And I'm sure all of us remember the cultural impact/status symbol of people with the white earbuds. Hell, Apple even made an ad campaign around it (the silhouette campaign).

Even though Apple only has 2 models, they raked in 2/3 of the profits.
What would anyone here prefer, own the market share and makes less money or have a small market share and make more money than all your competitors combined?
Cool article, and great point....I believe the iPhone 4 and 4S cost just under $200 to manufacture and they sell it for $700 unlocked...same goes for most other smart phones too, but most people don't buy other smart phones unlocked like they buy iPhones from the Apple store without a contract.
Plus iOS is exclusive so I believe they would save quite a bit of money from not licensing their OS like others would....I'd have to look into that though...
I highly doubt that, unless of course they are just another one of the mindless masses.
Siri, translate this...

As for white headphones, another issue for the mindless masses that does not concern me. Not to sound arrogant but if i wanted to listen to music on my smart phone i would use my own headphones.

You know where Palm got their ideas right? Apple Newton. Palm launched in 97. Newton in 89.

That only includes for future imports. That said, does Motorola have enough cash to enforce it is the question.
