well in Transformers Armada, one of the shows done durning the late 90's, ironhide is technically demolisher a decepticon. also Michael Bay has completely made up one of the new decepticons High Tower who took the spot of Hook in Devestator and is using Overlord as one of them too and he is an autobot that doesnt show signs of intelligent life. and Scavenger in Armada is a double agent for the autobots but in the 80s he is one that helps make up Devestator. and Wheelie is an autobot but he is a dcepticon in the new movie.....sooooo confusing and a tad madening

As for the parents, I agree that they were very annoying. Ironhide was just joking around. He would never hurt a human. (Maybe agent Simmons for what was done to Bumblebee)

Ironhide will never switch sides. He is too loyal to the autobots, and too nice to be a decepticon.

I know it's an old thread... but it's new to me!

And I know.... I know most of you don't like when some of us bring the prequel comic storyline into this, BUT... there could be a point there...

I mean after all, the scientist robots were under Prime's lead and the fighter robots were loyal to Megatron, but in defiance they change sides, resulting in Ironhide's new loyalty to Optimus, just like the late Prowl (I never thought they would kill prowl).

Well, I guess all I'm saying is anything can happen!!!, but I think it won't happen!!!

well if you want to be real about this... Ironhide was kinda D-con first then went A-bot. If you guys go back and look at Defiance issue 3 when Megs turns on the A-bots and tries to get Prime, Ratchet, BB, Cliffjumper, Arcee, Prowl and others in one location so Starscrem and gang can take them out... if you look closely... Ironhide is on the side of the D-cons. I dont think he really picks the A-bot side till later on. Maybe Defiance issue 4 or even some time after that. We'll have to wait and see if he does go A-bot in issue 4. Even in issue one when Ironhide is first talking to Starscream, he seems more like he is leaning toward going to the dark side if you get my drift. Im not saying for fact that Ironhide is or ever was 100% D-con and then switched sides... just saying when the lines were drawn and the two factions split, Ironhide sure wasnt A-bot right away.
