Crowning Moments of Heartwarming in DOTM

Yeah, the thread title was inspired by TV Tropes.

Basically, a thread to talk about the non-action moments in the movie that put a big smile on your face.

I'll start with this one bit where the Autobots make their epic comback:

Leadfoot: "We ain't goin' nowhere."
Brains: "Yeah, ain't nobody's exilin' us!"
Wheelie: "The Autobots are staying right here. We're going to help you win this war!"

I dunno why, but that bit of dialogue always put a smile on my face, probably because it really shows much the Autobots care about the humans and how they will never give up on them.

When Bee says "We've had a good run", with a gun pointed at the back of his head.


I almost lost it in the theater.


edit- I know it's not really heartwarming in the traditional sense, but just that Bee is saying bye to his friend as his last words gets me.

In the beginning right when we see Sentinel for the first time:

Nixon: "I just can't tell you how proud we all are of what you've done. For every American, this has to be the proudest day of our lives. And for people all over the world, I am sure they too join with Americans in recognizing what an immense feat this is. Because of what you have done, the heavens have become a part of man's world..."

That + Steve Jabonsky's score...oh...my god...

for me it had to be when the Paramount logo shows up, with the stars flying in and the transforming sounds.. all that months of waiting and seeing pics and vids of the sets and filming, all the trailers, all the hype.. the minute you hear those sounds, you know it's on.. i had such a huge smile on my face & was tearing up, the 1st time i saw the movie. and then the 1st thing you see cybertron in 3D! my god.. that was insane!, was just soo happy.. and then when i saw the movies ending i was like- :head

another scene was Megatron in Africa, that "All hail megatron" part was just 2 EPIC!

The effects at the start with the logo didn't affected me as much as in TF1 or ROTF, maybe 'cause Dreamworks wasn't there this time, but I still loved it.

Seeing Sentinel at the beginning with Nixon's speech was awesome too.

The drums in the score when the Autobots return in Chicago, with Prime just walking and loosing the bullet casket.

When Prime takes out the Matrix. Didn't expect to see it again after ROTF.

Bee checking his cannon in Sam's house.

Que's voice was great with me, I'll miss him

I always love the paramount stars in the begining.
Also the first time you hear primes voice, gives me chills.
When sam and bee are back at their apartment, and sam goes up
To bee, puts his hand on his mouth and asks him if he misses hanging out.
That really got to me.
When sam taps the autobots hood as he's walking by them.
Prime and buzz aldrin.
Sooo many moments like that put asmile on my face

The scene with Bumblebee and Sam at Carly's place reminds me so much of the Bee + Sam scene in ROTF after Prime has been killed. That scene just got me to tear up the first time (I just love Bee ). These scenes further connect the robots to the humans and reminds you that the movie isn't just all action and fighting.

Also, the robots' introductions give me that feeling of awesomeness; especially after we had all waited two years to see them again.

Where Wheelie and Brains come crashing down after they saboutaged the ship, and the romantic moments when Carly reaches out to Sam, i loved the intro with the astronauts the reconstruction of the moon landing and later where we see Buzz Aldrin with Optimus Prime was awesome to see, for me personally the moment i saw NASA Kennedy Space Center and that tower where the shuttle stands and the giant building where the shuttle gets transported from, the moment Optimus has to leave Sam behind before Starscream destoys the shuttle, the moment where Bumblebee gets the gun to the back of his head and looks Sam in the eyes and saying those words... im sure there are more moments but i cant remember it that good.

Yes, its not all heartwarming im sorry.

The part that had me smiling the biggest was when Brains yells out "we're gonna screw this ship up!" I just knew something awesome was going to happen.
