Wrath of the Titans - reminded me of a boxing match. 5 rounds of Perseus vs. The Titans.
It was enjoyable. The 3D was good although I can't find anywhere a confirmation that it was shot in 3D. Some sites state that it was converted, other that it was shot in 3D. Nevertheless I can tell you that the visual effects were stunning. Maybe the best I've ever seen. Dust, fire and smoke are the hardest to make in CGI. In some places I was wondering was that a practical effect or a CGI. Great job MPC. Can't wait to see their work on Prometheus.

It was conceived as a 3D movie, but they didn't use 3D cameras. It was post-converted.

Awake - stars too slowly but it is worth to wait cause it is a good film, good story, Hayden Christensen has lot of potential
The factory girl - nice story, nice film, Guy Pierce as Warhol is priceless
    Immortals - was ok
The woman in black - we went to a pre-screening where they had horror-cookies - those were awesome The lights and the conematography was nicely done. Else it was booooooooooooring : rol also this lady person in black is the most uninteresting horror person ever put in a movie

    Wrath of the Titans.

Was pretty freakin' badass, though I can't say whether or not it was better than the first. The score was pretty lackluster in comparison with the first movie's score, but CGI was absolutely kickass, especially with Kronos.

Wraith of the Titans: better than the first movie and a cool sequel, sort of like God of War on film and the effects were good.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011):
very good adaptation of the novel from Fincher but still the Swedish version is better cause i saw that first even when it got released in US theaters with it's sequels.

Wrath of the Titans - After watching it, I asked myself why I even bother going to see it. I already disliked the first one and second one wasn't any better. CGI was okay but it doesn't really make up for how poorly the movie turned.

Heh, I didn't care for the first Clash of the Titans, or the original either, so I'm not even going to bother. I'm just not into these kinds of movies. You think I would be, considering I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan.

Hunger Games. I haven't read the book, so I had no expectations of what it would be like. It was OK, but nothing special.
A couple of things are left out from the movie, such as what year it all takes place, though you get to know the number of the annual game they are about to play, and why all the people who live in the city look like dorks with blue hair and clothes that has to be made by Tim Burton.
In a video, they explain very shortly why the games exist, but that's it.
The preparations for the games takes a lot longer what I thought it would take and the playing field is out of this world and in the end it makes no sense how it works and what kind of technology they use.
The ending is predictable as usual with these kind of movies.
The movie is PG-13 and I think it's totally OK. There just isn't any need to show fountains of blood when the young boys and girls are chopped up with knives and swords.
    I rate from 1 to 5 and I'll give it a 3.
I think there are two more books that have been written about the thing and I wouldn't be surprised if they'll make movies of those as well.

Grave Encounters. Not bad for a "based on real events/footage" doco, reminded me a lot of Blair Witch Project meets Paranormal Activity.

Hey Frolunda, if you enjoyed HG, i recommend "Battle Royale" which is a unique 2000 made cult Japanese Sci-fi action thriller that influenced the novels and movie of "Hunger Games" as it's the same thing in the future when students go against schools as the adults put a special program in a secluded island where they do a special sports game with technology called the Battle Royale program where 9th grade boys and girls must destroy each other with only one to win the game but a few want to escape the island without death. It's a more action packed movie and a lot more gorier and disturbing at times even with it's subject matter but it's also a political Sci-fi film about society gone wrong. If you love action and Sci-fi, i recommend this one.

Titanic 3D: great film that was terrific in 3D and i can't wait for the Blu-Ray.

Powder: excellent Sci-fi fantasy drama, Jeff Goldblum and Sean Patrick Flanery star in it as it has an outcast albino bald teen boy who is orphaned and discovers he has unique intelligence and amazing powers beyond anything you've known. I loved it since i saw it 2 times in theaters when i was in junior high, a shame this movie stirred controversy because the director Victor Salva was boycotted because the film was written-directed-produced by him and that back in 1988 after filming the underrated cult film "Clownhouse", he molested Nathan Forest Winters who is the star of that film when the boy was 12 and the victim boycotted "Powder" but Salva did paid the penalty in 1988 and served 4 years then got paroled as he moved on. Personally i'd rather forget about the director's private life and still enjoy this movie, Jeepers Creepers, Nature of the Beast and Clownhouse, same goes for Roman Polanski's movies for i'd rather forget about what he also did in his private life and still enjoy his movies.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Movie:
Who remembers this 90's classic? almost any kid back then did. I saw it 3 times in theaters when i was 8 and loved it, i had the CD soundtrack which i still own, poster, t-shirt and cards to comic adaptation. It's still one of my fave movies of all time! gotta love it.

Real Steel - I want those 2 hours of my life back! Predictable story, terrible dialogue, corny acting even the physics behind the two robots in the final fight are deeply misleading. Someone else on here said it was a "feel good" family movie... LOL! Save yourself the trouble and just rewatch one of the Transformers movie's

Fast Five- This movie was pretty frickin' awesome. Justin Lin is a pretty damn good action director. I've loved that there didn't appear to be much, if any, CGI. Bringing all the previous characters back was great; I still would love to see more of Han, but I'm just not sure that it's possible to top just how sweet of a character he was in Tokyo Drift. And The Rock? Bad-ass. The action was great, the story was decent, and it was just a hell of a lot of fun.

    The Great Mouse Detective:
Does anyone remember this movie? i saw it in theaters in it's old 86 release when i was 5 about 4 times, i even had a few of the merchandise and i also remembered having a big crush on that sexy stripper mouse chick at that age and even at 10 when i saw the 92 re-issue. Vincent Price was terrific as the villain Ratigan in which he was born to play, a shame this was never on video until 92 after it's 92 re-issue in theaters of not being on video for a long time. One of my fave disney films.

    Wrath of the Titans

Enjoyed it, but was again pissed at the finale. Kronos sole purpose in this movie was to make the trailers look good, just as the Kraken was in #1.
