There was a D-con ship on mars and another D-con ship close to Saturn. The ship on the moon ismost likely autobot. I myself don't believe it is the ship Optimus and company came on though.

It's not Optimus, but there is a very strong resemblence between him and this robot on the moon. I wouldn't be surprised if the transformer is Optimus's brother or dad.

BIG no to time travel. I prefer it kept simple. By the sounds of it, the plot line is going to be complicated enough as it is.
