There is no "best" or "better" when it comes to film. There's only personal taste, and that will vary from one person to the next.

Good question.
JLH. Easily.
Are you mad?
I might have given it a nod for Visual Effects, but that's about it. Quantity does not equal great sound design. More isn't more, dude.
I'm not even going to comment on the rest of...
Not to rain on everyone's parade, but Cameron would be number 1 on this list if they re-did it now. The list says he had made $50 million off Avatar @ $830 million. Well, Avatar has soared past $2...
I've heard $237 million in production costs from a VERY reliable source.
Even if it did cost $500 million, then it's still made over a billion dollars in profit. It's a monumental success.
Stunning performance.
Cameron has the Midas touch.
Zoe deserves an Oscar nomination.
And in other news...
Avatar closes in on Titanic's all time record!
You are incorrect. I do read the threads I post in.
Stop trolling the boards, dude.

If ROTF won an Oscar for VFX, Bay would not be accepting the award - it goes to the VFX Supervisor.
So THAT'S why Sam Worthington's character is a paraplegic - so Cameron can win some more Oscars!
Thanks for clearing that up.
Cameron sure knows how to create a phenomenon.
If Sony want this film by 2012, then Michael cannot possibly do it.
Since another thread was just merged with this one, I want to clear up the last post of mine as it makes no sense. It should read like this...
Yes, it would. Hence why I said "the news section is wrong" in my post above.
...and a story. Audiences like stories.
Oh please. Bay's involvement has nothing to do with the outcome. Many people here seem to be under the impression that everyone in Hollywood hates Michael Bay. Allow me to clear that up for you right...
The news section is wrong.
Avatar is the second highest grossing film domestically and the fourth worldwide of 2009.
If you choose to see it that way. If you look at Avatar on a point-by-point basis, then it's VERY original.
I think you're friend needs to watch more movies.
And by the way, Avatar is now...
