To be honest, I think red is a shitty color for Sideswipe, it just doesn't fit him. G1 'Swipe may have it, but the movie CGI looks perfect in silver, the color suits him. Red should be associated with guys like Hot Rod.

Besides, Bay said red looks like crap on film. This toy we saw is just oozing in bright, bright red. Yuck.
