I really really REALLY want to go. I have the time off...I have the ways (financial and transportation), BUT, I'd have to go with somebody because you know, I'm so hot and my boyfriend's dad doesn't want me traveling alone. But it's sooo fun to travel alone....ehh, okay, back to the topic at hand.
Anywhoos, who all has been to previous ones? Is it worth it? I mean Cincinnati's only...three and a half hours from moi. Not a bad drive. I can visit my brother on the way up.
And the tease this year is...."Everything you thought you knew will be shattered."
Any ideas on what's coming? I looked at last year's Botcon page and it looks awesome.
Sooo....anyone been? Tell me how it is please!

It turns out my boyfriend's Alabama thing is the weekend BEFORE botcon.
I'm so going to beat his ass for telling me the wrong friggin' date. :mad:
Soooo....it looks like botcon's a go for moi!!!!!

Maybe on him. That idiot. I cannot believe he didn't check the dates before. And I got all upset and ready to ditch his sorry ass because he wouldn't sacrifice ANYTHING for me...when I sacrifice EVERYTHING for HIM!!!:mad:

LMAO I'm here in cali shadow I am going across the country...lol.though I was planning on taking a plane or greyhound still need to check into it.Hey bee if you wanted I could meet up with you and catch a ride.lol if you wouldn't mind.no worries I got a fiance.so your boy toy wouldn't have to worry.:);)

I'm still thinking about it. Cincinnati.. 17 hours flight is farther than Bahama.
And I'd rather expect 2009 Botcon to have TF2-related information and products.

Was his Alabama thing work related or just for fun? It can't be all that one sided can it? Maybe you were just not feeling kindly towards him for the scare with the wrong date... but if it is that one sided, yikes. (*cough, run away*)

I would love to go just for the experience. I never been to one. I'm not big on the collecting but I'm sure theres plenty to see in art and hear at the conference's.

I got a friend that has gone to a couple and utube shows some kids that actually made tf suits of tf charachters that acually work.
