I consider myself fortunate to have been able to drive most of what is on the road. (from Honda to Porsche) No exotics though :(.
But the coolest for me, are/were actually in my family:
I've driven my Uncle's Fully Restored 1928 Dodge Bros. Phaeton.

...and my Grandfather's (RIP) 1931 Ford Model A Sedan (been in my family for 3 generations)

and when I was a little kid another Uncle (RIP) would drive me around in this:

Completely archaic responsiveness and handling, but it's the idea that you're driving in a time capsule that makes it even more fun.
As far as the General, yeah, great memories in that thing. That picture was from '83-'84 (I was 5/6). I don't really remember more than a few guys that would yell out at my Uncle as he drove by. The memories that endure are the ones of him driving fast, or of me barely being able to see above the dash, stuff like that. He had to sell it a few years later.

Not driven in it myself (no driverslicence), but as a passenger. No car can beat the Aston Martin DB9 :)

[AA few years back, I left my first wife.....needed to blow off steam so I went to Vegas. I could have rented out a ferrarri for $1000 US/day, but I rented out two vipers instead for $500 / day instead. Drove the rt10 the first day, and the gts coupe the next day. I gotta say....the rt10 was nice, but higher speeds can be a nuissance since there were no sidewindows. I got pulled over by a motorcycle cop who clocked me doing 80mph in a 40 zone on vegas blvd. After I showed him my Canadian drivers licence, and rental agreement, all he said to me was, " that's pretty fast son, but not fast enough for a car like this!".....and he let me go........whew.....The next day, I hopped in the gts, and it was a much sweeter ride......all the way to 160mph:cool:

The nicest car(s) i've ridden in (in my opinion) was my mom's red 1966 Mustang and my dad's black 2006 GTO. Never been in any Ferraris or Porsches.

The best thing I ever drove was my mountain bike, just shows you how much I never get to check out cool cars, considering I don't even have my permit yet.
:lol
:)The nicest car I've ever driven in would be my Dad's old 1967 Plymouth Fury. Lots of good memories. I wish it was still around.
