It means it'll be a movie everyone can watch. We used to watch the original star trek show just for laughs......Shatner's fight scenes were hilarious....The best thing in the show were the girls' costumes

The whole idea of a prequel is kinda weird but I'll go with it because I want ST to do well after the failure of Nemesis and Enterprise. My favorite ST ship is still the NX01, very nuclear sub, very military, not like like the 1701 hotel in space look you got later on.

So what if they change shit, get over it nerds. It's fiction, not written in stone and as such those who hold the flame can adhere to or change it as much as they want, it's their property to do with what they will.

I agree with ya.....but.......there are way too many 40 year old virgins and guys that talk like robots ( "Grandma's Boy") that live to complain about cool stuff.................which is why they are virgins and losers to begin with

I never got it when nerds complain about stuff that happens in a movie. It's easy to complain from an armchair about all that's wrong but they could never create such a thing (even with it's flaws). It's easier to critisize than to actually do.

As for the property, I don't get the complaining. If shit gets changed, guess what, it's their's to change not yours. If you don't like it don't spend money on it. It's like when they released Batman Begins and people complained that he was not wearing a spandex gray suit. Firstly, it's not a comic book, it's DC's choice since they own the character so you need to shut the fuck up.

I'm actually looking forward to this film but I'm a taoist and except,flow and adapt to change.So I'm all for the new movie heard the cast has almost completly been picked but you know how fan sites can deciminate misinformation.:)
