Is the release date been pushed back or erased altogether? All the comic movie websites say that it's now unslotted.

IMDB still has it down as June 26, 2009.

I hope it's postponed. No need to rush things. I would actually rather see it open in September/October, or hell, even Christmas. Movies like Titanic or The Lord of the Rings opened around Christmas and look what happened there. Studios are always fast to get there movies out around Summer-time because it's the best peroids for blockbusters. Also, I think it has to do with that I didn't like that the first one didn't feel so exactly like a typical Summer-movie. Bay always directs movies that way, and it kinda bugs me. I want the sequel to be darker, and more epic. Some of the comedy in Part 1 (typical of a Summer blockbuster) gets kinda annoying there more you see it but was alright the first time with a packed audience. Not to mention those rock songs that seriously dates the film.
