How many TF movies do you think will be in this awesome franchise? I think maybe at least 4. If Spider Man can have more than 4 why not TF?
I don't care if it's "too early" to post this....just want what you think.:)

3, directed by Michael.
And four or five years later, at least another one ( just like "Pirates of the Caribbean" ).

There will be 3 from Bay........9 or 10 years from now, another director will come along and do a "reimagining" of the franchise, with another origin story.

The third movie will be the last one before a reboot of the franchise. Everyone knows how the third movie will play out and it's got old in the second movie.

I hope sp that there will be more than 3 TF movies, i mean it has the fans support and go ahead and make this into a saga movies i would be personally dissapointed if TF3 was to be the last one. I mean i personally do not want too wait 10 fricking yrs to c a reboot or whatever who know what can happen within that losg time. I also can uinderstand bay's limit with the robots and he's an awesome director but he could always pass it onto someone else either way i hope in vain and yes in vain that there will be a TF4 ;(

I think 5 is a good number... can't go wrong with that, it's better than cramming everything into 3 movies... I would love it if there were 5 movies..but alas I will be also happy with 4 which ever Michael decides will be awesome.. That is a guarantee :)

You know guys, I wouldn't be surprised if they do want to continue the Franchise after TF3 and TF4 got canceled, just like what happened with Spider-Man 4 and that got canceled because over Script disputes, and for those who are disappointed that Spider-Man 4 got canceled, that just shows you how business goes, these movies series like Pirates Of The Caribbean and Harry Potter are money movie making business.

considering that we are in the age of REBOOT, if transformers even stops for like, idk . . . a three year period, some moron is gonna come around sayin Reboot time. spidey reboot after like a three year stop cuz one little thing didnt go their way, then the hulk (that deserved one tho) and nightmare on elm street, bla bla bla so many more i cant think of, but so many that it makes ya sick.

I want Michael Bay to do all the TF's movies if possible and his trusted/familiar crew (i dont care how many years it will take him) and i want him to make ONE Transformers movie more then Harry Potter and/or Twilight will ever have in their franchise. =D But i dont want them to go on if they run out of good idia's if they dont have idia's then they may stop doing it.

Preferably I think that TF3 should be the last, but depending on the ending there might be a possibility we could be looking at a 4th at very least.

The series is done with this next movie. The series will be rebooted in under 5 years because of the amount of it brings in for Hasbro and a whole new cast and director will be brought on board.

I think It should be like Star Wars. Do the LAST three FIRst, than a year or so later, come back an do the origin story movies of sorts that lead up to these events. NEw dirrector, new actors, ect. It would be mostly Transformers, depicting the war against the Decepticons and how Cybertron was destroyed. How Megs ended up as a bad guy. How he gathered his army and how Optimus and the Autobots fought back against them. How the Cube was lost. That stuff. In fact, I think I'm gonna get writing. ;)

That's a great idea Chromia/Maybell. Whoever handles the reboot should do a prequel trilogy. That would be awesome!

Exactly!~ I have the perfect idea for it, too. Do the first movie on Optimus and Megatron's childhood, them growing up on Cybertron. It will end when Optimus and Megs get control over Cybertrom Optimus was the political ruler, Megatron the millitary leader. Movie two will be the first bit of their leadership, showing how Megatrom became corrupted with his newfound power, became hungry for more. It will detail how he came across the Fallen and became leader of the Decepticons. The beginning of the Cybertron war, the first battle or so.. Move three? The war itself. The Cube being ejected into space. The Autobots and Decepticons going off in search of it. Ending when they first find go off in search of it, or maybe when they discover it on Earth?
How does that sound?~ I think I'm actually going to write this down... O.o;

This is just something I typed up in my free time. If anyone steals it, I swear... >.>;
(This is from young Optimus's *AKA Orion Pax* point of view. He is the one speaking. The ____ means that I have not yet fathomed a name for this spot. XD Basically, it's blank. X3 )
What is a name? I find myself asking this question more and more frequently. My entire home planet of Cybertron seems unable to fathom a universal answer. Some say it is a title to hold with respect, others say it is a statement about who you are. A few tell me that a name is nothing more than what you have others call you, and has no further meaning than that. But if any of these is the true answer, than why do our leaders change their names after taking office? Why do they change who they are?
Let me tell you a little something about how our leaders are chosen before you devote yourself to an answer. Every one of Cybertron's rulers is a direct descendant from one of the first seven. The original Cybertronians. The Primes. A great ancestor of mine was a Prime, and only two others in our bloodline still live today. My father and my brother, Megatron. We are the twin sons of ________ Prime, the brave and powerful leader of our planet. The two of us are quite an oddity, for twins have not been born on Cybertron in many millennia, and never in the bloodline of the Primes. Therefore the leadership shall be split between us. One will administer politics, the other will guide our great army.
Enough about that, all you truly need to know is that when one of our bloodline takes their place as our leader, they become a true Prime, and their name is altered to suit their title. If and when I assume my position as leader (Father says that only the political leader will change his name, the military leader will not) I will become known as Optimus Prime. If Megatron earns the position, he will become _______ Prime.
I am not sure that I wish to take on the name Prime. I am not certain that I even deserve it. I have never excelled at politics, although some of father's council is far worse than me at finding and discussing the real, serious issues. Megatron, however, claims that I was born to be a Prime. Ha ha, Megs. Very funny.
It's just that I don't think I want the burden of an entire planet resting on my shoulders. I am afraid that it will crush me under it's immense weight. I am afraid that I will fail my people if they entrust me with this task. I could not stand failure, it would destroy me. But what if I do fail? What happens than?

Yeah, 3 total for Bay, he has a lot of other projects that he wants to work on.
After that, depends on if the reboot craze is done- TF has done well, so this is kinda the reboot, it doesn't need another. If the next films after 3 were ruined by incompetence, it'd be better if they didn't bother... at least they should have some of the same people working on all the films to give some fluidness...

I'm surprised no one seems interested in the many stories that can be told of the multiple characters available by the Autobot & Decepticon factions.
This is what makes the Transformers such a special entity by comparison to other movies. The majority of other blockbusters evolve around just one character typically, where as the Transformers are made up of several unique characters that have their own back stories & a host of conflicted issues/feelings that extend beyond the Autobot & Decepticon war.
This is why I believe the Transformers is not as exposed to running flat or short of ideas & isn't a franchise that can grow old as quickly as most people believe it would if it continued beyond 3 movies.
The lore of the franchise is so deep in mysterious circumstances that it loans itself to all the story telling any professional writer/producer/director, etc., could have a field day with (and not to mention a very exciting & lucrative career).
As difficult as those of you may paint the picture of the Transformers to be, you really should open your imagination & think of all the possible scenarios that have yet to be tapped into before you all decide to go with the worn out ideas of prequels, stupid reboots, ending it at just 3 releases, & exceedingly long hiatuses. I'm simply replying to this thread because I didn't see any post that came across strongly about continuing the franchise on the big screen as is, untouched. It may be a fantasy for me to think of the franchise in this way, however hopefully in doing so perhaps I'm speaking up for the masses whom don't have the time to post their thoughts that are similar to mine.
Besides Mr. Bay & Team, what other franchise can you literally use every single available talent, resource, blood, sweat, tears, & heart you have in producing a Transformers movie & compare it to any other production you've done without noticing there's more to it than meets the eye!?! You're working on a timeless adventure that offers infinite possibilities of escapism on the big screen for the masses; isn't that a huge part of what the movie going experience is all about? Transformers is the greatest opportunity any movie studio could have because it truly has created its own movie category.

My Prequal idea would go into the backstories of several of the movieverse robots. Bumblebe, Ironhide, Optimus, MEgatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Barricade, ect. It will show how they became part of the factions, what compeled them to do so, what made them who they are today. Although it would focus on OP and Megs, they would play large roles in the movies as well.

It's not that we don't believe it, it's that it doesn't look like it will happen. So many characters, timelines, continuities- and other universes... there is a lot, but will they be told outside comic mini-series? Probably not, sadly.

Hey I'm loving this, you should've sent it as a private message to the studio (I'm not sure how that works exactly) for forwarding to E.K. or M.B. because they can't use it if its been exposed openly to the public.
Q: Is there any way you can forward an idea, scripts, or video tapes to Michael?
Not through this site. We cannot accept unsolicited material (e.g. scripts, presents, videos, reels, etc.) intend to be received by or for Michael. And we CANNOT direct it to him or his production company. It is unsolicited material and legally we cannot accept it (much less send it to Michael). Common Sense
1.- Please do not ask for A JOB. please do not ASK TO BE IN A MOVIE. Ask yourself: would you offer someone a job or a part in a feature film based on a post on a www forum?
2.- Before posting a question, please search to see if someone else hasn't asked the same question. Keep your question short and simple, make it something worthwhile.
4.- Please do not post scripts/ideas/treatments on this board. You will be banned. Please do not post film or script suggestions unless asked for. Post(s) will be deleted immediately.
5.- You can express your concerns politely and professionally. This is not a place to bitch like a 4 year-old about your dislikes about the TF. Any bitching threads will be deleted.
6.- Answering of your question(s) is up to Michael's discretion.
7.- Please keep your sigs down to 3 lines and/or less or less than 15px per line. It's pretty lame when you're sig is 10x longer/higher than the 5-word sentence you posted.
