We all know Bay said today that he is introducing a new character into the third Transformers movie and it will be a Ferrari but is it a character from the Transformers world we know? Or is it a new character all together that he has created?

Was there a Ferrari in the comics or the tv show?

Well, Bumblebee was a beetle, so Cliff Jumper (like bumblebee but red) would make a great guess. He was in a lot of episodes of G1.

Oh, sorry, I didn't intentionally refer to your post...

And by equation I mean The TF movies. If hot rod's in the movie he has to become radimus prime, and for that to happen, optimus has to die... and I don't think that will fit the story on the 3rd movie; unless you want to keep hot rod as your die-hard assault soldier which would be cool, then it could work.

I might also add that it would be interesting seeing bumble bee and cliff jumper together for all times' sake =)

What about Mirage for the red sport car? He was rly cool and was like a stealthy spy autobot.

I said IF Radimus P. is in the picture; the whole Hot Rod concept was created around one purpose only... to become a Prime, and that won't happen as the story has changed. Hot Rod would be a waste of car... :p

You mean Rodimus Prime? And I didn't misread you. You said he HAS to become Rodimus Prime, and he doesn't. The writers make the rules, and as we've seen, they rarely follow the G1 mythos. Jazz being ripped in half by Megatron? Ravage being killed by Bumblebee? What about the army of Constructicons? Nothing HAS to go a certain way just because G1 says so.

I do think however... that if Sunny shows up, he will not be a solid Yellow if he is yellow at all. I can see an orange/goldish color. But the car Bay showed us screams Hot Rod to me.

Wheel Jack is great character to bring in to annoy and compete with Ratchet. You could have some funny scenes with them arguing over one of wheel jacks inventions. Looking forward to it regardless.

I started a forum topic on this very issue of having the Ferrari be a female autobot as Transformer franchise has not really represented Female Transformers and Override in the film franchise and Override would make a great Ferrari Transformer as she was racecar in cybertron world.
