Next Transformers Movie??

I realize that it's probably too soon, what with the release of the DVD and IMAX to be released...but WILL THERE BE ANOTHER TRANSFORMERS MOVIE?
Obviously the movie got mixed reviews...but I thought it was incredibly awesome...and the CGI...unmatched by any movie I've ever seen! My question is simply...:confused:why has there been no announcement that there will be another one made?:confused: And while we're at it...Will there be new actors signing on, or will you see the same characters sign back on? Don't want to wait too long or til the key players get too old, especially the voice actors...

There have been numerous announcements going around for over a month that TF2 is coming! They have been working on a script for well over a month now.

Also, Shia & megan fox have signed on for two more sequels so far, there may be more signed on.

TF2 should be out around 2009 or 2010 at the latest I hope.

I read a while back the studios wanted him to drop everything else and focus on TF2, I hope so.

Maybe the pending strike poses problem or something...

Anyway, I would love to see another Transformers, with more money too since they apparently had to cut back on some action pieces for the first one (I remember reading in Quint's office visit report on AICN about an actual chase between Bonecrusher and Prime before the fought and Transformers tearing lightposts from the ground to hit each other with them).

However, I would love for Mr. Bay to try his hand at something different once more. Like he saif about Die Hard 4, "been there, done that". I sure would've liked for him to direct Prince of Persia (and kick Pirates of the Carribean in the ass :)) or even Pain & Gain if he could squeeze it in. But I doubt Bruckheimler would wait for him since PoP already has a release date set (I know these things can change but they might just go with someone else like they did with King Arthur which was at first developed by Bay if I'm not mistaken) and I guess DreamWorks/Paramount expect T2 for the same summer (2009).
The one I'm not too jazzed about is 2012, sounds a little too Armageddon-ish. "Been there, done that", right?

I hope Bay does not get involved with prince of persia, another video game based movie and we all know how well those have done over the years!
Hollyweird needs to move past that fad.

Yeah we won't be hearing any major updates with regards to TF2 because of the strike actually. So if we do hear anything worth noting, it will be after the strike unfortunately, which will be quite the wait.
