A nice bit of casting there IMO. The voice of Shredder from TMNT, I think he could do nicely on TF3.

I didn't read all of the "fake" script. I have too much to do. I did read the first 20 or so pages, and the time travel thing was by far the biggest thing I didn't like. I also didn't like the shoehorning in of all the cartoon and movie lines.

Will have to wait and see.

When I first heard about Silverbolt in TF3 I first thought "Beast Wars". My second thought was "WTF?" Then I checked into it and to my surprise I found out he was a G1 character. Here's a pic of the toy they made:

If Silverbolt is in this movie that means we'll finally be seeing an Autobot who can battle Starscream in the sky.

Lol! i was thinking the same thing how can silverbolt b in transformers 3 when he was in the beast era though i loved his character but i would love to c this silverbolt in the movie starscream need's an equal who can take him on in the sky then may b he won't b able to getaway all the time in the end of a movie lol!

If James Avery is going to play the Aerialbot "Silverbolt" in the new movie, then I think that the Aerialbot "Slingshot" should be played by Will Smith. Smith has been in Michael Bay's movies before, so he would be good for it. Slingshot was always more of a troublemaker, whereas Silverbolt was more straightlaced, so I think this would be a good idea. Slingshot's entry to the film should happen in this way: he flies out of the sky in jet mode and transforms, landing in Sam's backyard. He then exclaims "WELCOME TO URF" and punches Mikaela in the face. I think this would be a fitting character introduction for him. No credit to me is necessary if this is used in the movie. Thanks.

I don't think a transformer punching a human especially a female human is really a good option as it is a violent behaviour it might seem to acceptable to younger viewer's for a male persona to hit a woman + i don't think she would have a face left if a giant robot actually punches u lol!

They need to put that in TF3. Have a Decepticon punch a human. Maybe a Decepticon Barricade's size. It would be cruel and a rather amusing way to get rid of a human germ.

Yeah, I remember that. The person Megatron flicked was a CGI Michael Bay. I want to see one punch or use their first and just pound a human into the ground.

If they do Silverbolt, I would like for it to be close to his G1 counterpart so they can also have the other aerialbots, and then Starscream can have his seeker buddies of Skywarp and Thundercracker and maybe even Dirge, Ramjet and Thrust.

I highly doubt that'll happen tho, the movie-verse is trying to establish it self as unique in many areas- design for instance. A lot of the non-core TFs have very different personalities. I think effort is being taken to make sure this isn't G1 2.0... which is fine with me, tho G1 was quite good. :)

I should have clarified it a bit more. I'd like for TF3 Silverbolt to resemble G1 Silverbolt in alt mode only. It doesn't have to be the same kind of plane, just as long as it's a jet that flies and can give the Autobots some needed air support other than the US military.

His personality can be a different as it wants to be. I just want a similar alt mode.

I did like Beast Wars Silverbolt better as a "character". But if they're gonna give me a dog with wings, I better be getting a Dinobot first!
