Just watched it. I was in tears and my side stitching. Esp. with OP saying,"I am going to shove Megatrons fusion cannon right up his a**............with his arm still attached". And I love Soundwave's mixtape.

My fav is Shockwave's Burden... so awesome! I hate profanity, and I'm addicted to Dr. Smoov... it's so weird. But Jazz in HMF telling Chip to shut up? Priceless... *shakes head*

I just watched that for the first time. I felt really bad for Shockwave. He couldn't shoot anybody but everybody was shooting him. Elita One and her crew were stealing energon from him and the Autobots using the space bridge at will. Felt bad for the one eyed guy.

Nobady does Wheeljack as good as DR. Smoov. IMO he has him pegged perfectly..exactly how I have always pictured WJ. I live close enough to Brooklyn..and its....well ..you know where I am going.

I however would not want this stuff in the movie. The autobots aren't the swearing types usually... and Prime being a jerk isn't why he has the appeal that he does.

No, definitely not movie material.

But if you want a rift in the Bots Grimlock would be the one to cause it. He was never one to be compliant and showed total disrespect to Primes wishes. I don't think Grimlock ever considered the Dinobots as Autobots. When Prime called on them Grim would say,"Dinobots always get Autobots out of trouble". He is a rebel which is why he is one of my top 10 Transformers. He is like the Autobots version of Starscream.

Yea really.. def not movie material at all.. but parodies are funny..unless my husband is watching them..he has absolutely no sense of humor ( why he is with me I have no idea since I cannot be offended and am a clown most of the time)

Grimlock would be cool..but it would just be hard to realistically portrait the dinobots in a live action movie.

Exactly. No matter how much I try to think of a way they can introduce them in the movie I just can't think of it without changing up their alt modes. Then they wouldn't be Dinobots. I guess they're better off left in the cartoon.

Although I wouldn't mind seeing Megatron acting a little bit like in the parody's, wouldn't it be awesome if Megatron acted like a complete jerk, cocky and a uber-megalomaniac? We had the Twins, Sam's mom, Leo and Simmons saying or doing innappropriate innuendo's, or saying offensive things. Why not give a little spice and flavor to Megatron and Starscream's characters? That's what the cartoon had, I'm serious!

Epic, that would be a good idea. No matter the reason the decepticons come to earth for this time, Megatron will go all out this time around and be the character you said.

I really think that the d'cons will come just to take earth...

Absolutely, my friend. I wouldn't mind him saying "EXXX-SOO-LENTTT" (excellent!) when he comends his favorate soldiers, and says "SIGH-LANCE!!!" (silence!) to Starscream or anyone who disagrees with his plan or as a way to answer back to Prime when he acts like the trash talking hero. I think it would balance things out, rather than Megatron being mostly quiet when Optimus Prime is trash talking and acting like a heroic Cowboy.

Sorry about going off topic and the rant, but I just could not resist!

Epic, that's just the truth man. Megatron was talking smack in TF1 but was completely silent during ROTF. I mean wouldn't it have been great during that epic forest battle when Prime called him "junk yard crap" Megatron would have responded with his "SIGH-LANCE" line. Or instead of him saying "Yessssss" to The Fallen when they were talking about capturing Sam he could have said "EXXX-SOO-LENTTT". How great would that have been. In Dr. Smoov's Heavy Metal Fight vid, after Megatron defeated Prime he said "remember this Prime...don't f*** with the Decpticons". Honestly, that would be a great line. They probably would have to tone down a little of the profanity throughout the movie to put that one in to keep it PG-13 but I think it would be worth it. Or am I just too much of a G1er?

Remember that Grimlock felt and expressed over again that he should be the leader of the Autobots on the basis that he was stronger than Prime. He also was very insubordinate and insulting to Prime on several occasions. Many times he and the other Dinobots were unwilling to help the Autobots when they were in trouble. So yes he is as close to Starscream as it comes.

No, you are not alone. Megatron in TF1 trash talked and had a little bit of character, although it was brief because he showed near the end of the movie, but he said things like "you still fight for the weak and that is why you lose!" and when around humans he pricked them and said "Ugh, disgusting." and that reminded me a little of G1 Megatron with the flavorful and memorable character that made him a top 5 villian in the science fiction genre.

Yes, I don't know about you guys but if Megatron swore a bit it'd make seem more epic. Of coarse it has to make sense, but hes gotta be amazing especially after what Prime did to him:D

I just have a feeling Megs will come back with a vengeance. He said in the end "this isn't over".

Megatron is a very dark, very evil character and I do believe that if he used a little language it would add to his character. I also believe that some dark humor should be added to him such as him killing a human and finding it amusing. If the movie makers want dark then make him and the Decepticons dark.

Then add a little rift between the Autobots. Perhaps a Bot questioning Primes motives or, a difficult, insubordinate Bot that disrespects Primes wishes and then quits the Autobots and either leaves Earth or, joins the Cons. Or even better, have Prime (who the audience sees as above reproach) make a decision that results in the death of a human.

Agreed, a little profanity from Megatron wouldn't be harmful in any way, especially in Michael Bay's interpretation of the current Transformers movie verse continuity. A mix of awesomeness and comic relief. As an example of what I mean is:

Starscream: "Lets strike while the Autobots are down!"

Megatron: "Shut up you fool! I will decide when we attack, not a malfunctional lackey like yourself."

Starscream: "You always say that to me, mighty leader!"

Megatron: "Because they are only for my loyal subjects like Soundwave. I'll tell you what, why don't you go back to leading your army of androids to a picnic like I said before? Now go!"
