I doubt the game and movie are connected at all, although the design of the characters are a mix of G1 and movie verse designs. Supposively its going to use Gears of War gameplay mechanics.
Although I would love see the next movie on Cybertron, there is alot to explore there, albeit the cities are in ruins. I am getting a little bored of Earth, want to see some cool exploring things in our galaxy. Like Shia Labeouf said, Transformers is for those that seek escapism.

Yes, earth is getting boring. I am sure the Ark is hovering around not too far away from earth. So the space exploration is definitely a possibility. I wanted to see more of the Nemesis in ROTF. I thought that scene was great. It looked real, and seeing what they can do with the CGI anything is possible. Worm holes, space bridges, gravity wells, etc. can play into it. I've heard a few say that don't want something intergalactic but, we are talking about an alien robot race on our planet. They have a home and it should be explored. We only got one 10 second scene of Cybertron in TF1 and OP very briefly mentioned it in ROTF. I don't believe it would be like Star Wars or, Star Trek.
