there should be not other option. the score of both movies were just amazing. i just felt that the score for the second one was tooo influenced by Zimmer's dark style. Steve can do an amazing job all by himself. he proved it with the first score

the score needs more climatic hooks, like from arrival to earth and from skorpanok

His music made these movies even more epic and powerful. He is "the John Williams" of this franchise. I can't imagine a Transformers movie without Steve Jablonsky.

Well..

Jablonsky was in The Rock as some sort of assistant (in his own words)
He was in Armageddon as a technician
He was in Pearl harbor making aditional music
He was in Bad Boys 2 making like half the score
He was in the Island making the whole score
He was in Transformers making the whole score
He was in Transformers 2 making the whole score.

He also was in The texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Texas chainsaw Massacre: The Beggining, The Amityville horror, The Hitcher and Friday 13th.

I think he is now like Bay's composer. He will be in Transformers 3.

It was actually one of the first projects he was involved in. Here's an old, but very interesting interview with him - http://www.ifmagazine.com/feature.asp?article=2208

I'm sure he will be. I enjoyed his scores on both Transformer movies so far.

It's too early to tell, but I see no reasons for him not to.

I really hope he does. His music is epic and makes you feel what goes on during the scenes in which his music is playing. It wont be Transformers without him.

Do you think he can remake this tune?

Or this one?

I remade similiar tune: https://www.box.net/shared/2nyay1ow8w

And he surely can do that and more, but it would be out of place in the movies.

you guys dont have to worry... he will be back. He's done work in every one of Bay's movies and a Bay movie with out Jablonsky's work wont feel the same.

He's the one, he has that magic no other composer can give that.
