I dont think it should be another hot chick at all. I think after these three movies are done and only if they go on to make more movies, it should be from maybe their son or daughter's point of view. By the third movie or at least the end of the movie, they should have a kid by now I would think. Start off the next three movies with almost a whole new cast. Start fresh.

You know, I agree with you 100%. If there is a TF4 and TF5, in TF4 you can have Sam as a 40 year old with kids, and TF5 can be about the kids grown up and the funny thing Optimus Prime wouldn't have changed one bit lol.

Transformers4 should be set like 15-20 years in the future featuring the son of Sam and Mikaela. Their son should be in love with a girl he doesn't seem to have a chance to talk to like his father and all new unknown actors and actresses should get cast for the role just like for the first Transformers movie. Sam and Mikaela characters could still be in the movie but as background characters mainly and using a mixture of aging techniques similar to Benjamin Button/Back To The Future maybe for short scenes and such.
Then some possible not so famous very pretty actresses that come to mind and would be still young enough when a Transformers4 movie will be produced might be:

Sorry, when I said main I was also including Simmons, Sam's parents,Leo, Lennox and Epps. It doesn't have to be Mikaela or Sam.
I just feel the movie would have more emotional impact if it showed some casualties on the humans side instead of just army guy #32.

The fact is that you are among the minority. If Michael Bay ever killed Mikaela Banes in Transformers3 then he would cause the movie to either underperform or flop pretty badly.
Making the movie darker, yes. Killing off Mikaela would first of all cause Megan Fox fans and not only fans to be really disappointed and then the general public would not feel it right.. it wouldn't look tragic, it would look forced to, pretending to be tragic and the character of Sam would get destroyed in the process... That would be the wrong way to turn the movie darker. Other characters even main ones could be killed off but Sam and Mikaela not, at least not on Transformers3. Only after they will have had a kid that will become and Headmaster then the two characters could be killed off to make the movies darker and have the kid grow up with Autobots alone...

Even if Mikaela is killed off, how unrealistic would it be if Sam just ended up with another girl?
They would have dated for 4 years, if Mikaela in that relationship dies how could Sam just get with somebody else. In reality it would take 1-2 years just to think about dating again....

Agreed, you can't just add in a new actress to take the place of an already known image of a character imo.
Killing her off wouldn't help either. This would make Sam emotional like I have said before, maybe too emotional for TF3. If she does get killed off, I would be really pissed if they brought in a new love interest simply because it would be so unrealistic. Like I have said before, how could somebody lose a love of their life after dating for 4 years, then just go with somebody after she died. It would make no sense.
If this happened to me, I would be able to think about dating for about a year or more. Just venting lol.

Agreed. They are doing great without bringing in A list actors (though in the process Shia is now A list). But, I hope the character is Carly. I thought that Megan was supposed to be Carly but nope, she isn't even close.

You have to remember that were it not for G1 we would have no Transformers. All of the characters that have been used thus far in TF have been G1 transformers. The storyline of both TF movies have been inspired by G1. Example: Bumblebee and Sam (AKA Spike) being close friends, Jazz being second Lieutenant, Ironhide as weapons specialist or, Soundwave as comunication specialist with Ravage ejecting out of his chest. So if G1 fans can't ask for this then nobody should have complained about not seeing Soundwave enough, or no one should be requesting what robots they would like to see in the next movie.
